Cesspool message board. Enjoy that, Mets fans.

I personally liked how they took a shot at us for "not being allowed to buy a gun." Is that really supposed to be an insult?

I can buy a gun easier than prescription medication, not sure what that clown means.

When will they announce the roster?? Herrera has to be the one replacing Russell, right? No way they'd do something like Szczur or another pitcher (Hunter, Ramirez, or Motte)?

I highly doubt it would be Szczur since he's not with the team, Herrera and Berry both seem to be still with the team so they'd be first choices I imagine.

I didn't even know Berry wasn't on the NLDS roster, I figured he was and was a lock on the NLCS. But yeah I'm in favor of him for the 1-2 times we may need a SB late in a game.

It's not even accurate anymore, right?

They were saying that the person who made one of the earlier posts in our thread sounded like a serial killer.

lmao, this Mets fan on that board is going to be in Chicago next week and bought tickets to Sheffield Ave Skybox rooftop for $200 so he could go to the game....

From their website:

What's the view of the field like?

Skybox on Sheffield is all about the experience of the Wrigleyville atmosphere and the celebration of Chicago. We don't have a view of the infield but our offerings are well beyond just the game (which is shown on the many TVs throughout the facility). We pride ourselves not only on fully embracing the energy of the area and fans but also in our elevated food, drinks and service.

That's probably a pretty fair assessment.

any message board that lets posters throw around homophobic slurs is a cesspool anyway, who cares what they think?

Even beyond that, it's not a particularly impressive community. It's less GatewayRedbirds and more CardsTalk.

The Cubs will need a similar approach as the Dodgers used against their pitchers. LA worked the count well, was able to get them in the 90-100 pitch count thru 5. They'll need to maintain that from the Stl series. Offensively, the Mets struggled (especially Duda) which helps vs the righties.

Cubs maintain their approach, they'll win in 6.

what an exciting [expletive] series. Two hot teams at the top of their game. A bunch of awesome pitchers and dongmachines. It's going to be awesome

Tweet just now by Julie DiCaro saying Tuesday will actually be a night game. Haven't seen it anywhere else yet though.

PRAISE JEEBUS PLEASE BE TRUE

I just got assigned to a meeting that was possibly going to be that afternoon and I was freaking out inside.

TBS showed a tentative schedule (no times beyond Sunday) that had 'Tuesday afternoon' listed for Game 3. If it is a night game, they reversed course.

holy schnikies Fox must be pissed

well instead of one day game, they're now getting two... not a huuuuge difference, especially with the last one is "if necessary".

referencing weekdays games, but point taken.

is there a huge difference in viewership for saturday day games vs. saturday night games? and how meaningful is the difference?
