Not great donging conditions this weekend in New York with temps likely to be in the 40s in an already spacious park.

Of course the Cubs are very good at donging and don't care about stupid conditions so let the dongs commence

We will dong them into submission.

I certainly hope you're right, but bear in mind, we didn't sweep them by donging them into submission, we swept them by pitching them into submission........

Go CUBS !!

Both teams were largely pre-dong at that point.

Completely mindfucked that it's cubs-mets in the NLCS. I mean like three months ago we were all joking about the mets intentionally trying to lose games!

This is true. Through 02 July (the last time we faced the Mets) we were scoring 3.95 R/G, hitting 0.935 HR/G and OPSing .701, Since 02 July we are scoring 4.54 R/G, hitting 1.223 HR/G, and OPSing .739. I was a bit surprised to see that our pitching numbers were almost identical before and after 02 July.

It's gonna be a war !!

Go CUBS !!

Cubs have a better rotation, bullpen, offense and bench, both at the top end and depth-wise.

The Mets are better than they were in June, but so are the Cubs.

This series is going to be, hopefully, a blast. All the young hitting vs all the young pitching. BEAT THEM.
