  1. Gonna need to score to avoid a loss in which we have 8 hits to 3. Ouch.
  2. I think I saw the name Woodford on a transaction post at some point but not in a million horsefeathers years could I tell you what his first name is
  3. Should get extra half-wins for trying to win games with this pitching staff. Just no one trustworthy at all
  4. We need to start fining Bregman when he interrupts PCA stealing a base then hits into a double play.
  5. I've pointed out elsewhere that there is literally nothing stopping owners from enacting aggressive revenue sharing among themselves. It would require zero input from the players. But the owners want to take from them to facilitate less payroll disparity instead, for obvious reasons.
  6. That homer didn't help. Is it just me or does Tyler O'Neill always kill us?
  7. I've been to Toronto twice and absolutely loved it both times. Hoping to take the wife and kids there someday.
  8. I was really annoyed they didn't go Chip and JD for the peacock game on Sunday rather than Cohen and Sweeney
  9. I've said it before but if they're going to pull this horsefeathers anyway, I kinda want them to win the World Series so the owners look even more like the ghouls they are for pretending the salary cap is about helping the poor small-market teams while Milwaukee is the 2nd most successful regular season team of the decade, is humming along winning 95+ a year, and holding the trophy.
  10. I'm not sure if Crawford has another color gig right now, but I've heard blips of him doing NBC games and he seems OK.
  11. I had the Brewers game on for about 3 minutes in the 9th, long enough to hear that Arizona had had the 6 hardest hit balls of the game and they were all outs. This is just the world we live in now, huh?
  12. It was only today. I imagine given the Star Spangled Sunday marketing that they plan to do it again next year when July 4 is a Sunday. If there are games.
  13. Oddly enough my memory is pinging me about a series when La Russa was still there when the Cubs hit them a bunch of times and TLR went full meatball and retaliated even though, like today, they didn't appear to be intentional at all
  14. I don't know what is happening with him but someone needs to figure it out and quick
  15. Feels like once every 10 days or so we get a game where we're reminded how nice it is having competent defenders at every position
  16. I guess in his defense he's not alone today
  17. I've started grabbing Raising Cane's prior to games when I go. Can pig out on one of those Caniac meals for far cheaper than in the park and that usually carries me clear through to the evening.
  18. I didn't have this game on for 90 seconds before Milwaukee took the lead
  19. 23 runs on the day Walker Buehler starts. Sure. Why not?
  20. Dansby shrugging approaching 3rd was pretty epic. I don't know what the hell happened to him but make it keep happening to everyone please
  21. Just looked it up because I couldn't remember either, 4-10 is the sweet spot.
  22. I strongly agree they won't contend next year if they lose literally everyone who is projected to hit free agency, add no one of note, and make no other relevant moves in the interim. I assume, though, that CBA permitting, that confluence of events will not occur.
  23. Great swing Seiya, big time win. We surely can't keep getting away with this!
