I didn't mind 12 as originally proposed, but everyone involved moved at warp speed to kill everything good about it. I can't imagine ever watching another college football game not involving my teams prior to November anymore, nor any playoff game prior to the quarterfinals. I basically already don't. I catch snippets of games when I'm home.

Woodruff missed the whole year, I think that and Chourio is about it.

That and the Rizzo "respect me!" game emphatically answered whether Cubs playoff games would still be stressful without the drought hanging over us. So draining. And Wade Davis at the end was absolutely outstanding, shades of Chapman in Game 5 of the World Series.

Realignment news: James Madison is jumping to the American from the Sun Belt no later than 2028.

No guarantees on the game, but the atmosphere in Provo is going to be absolutely bananas. Apparently it is the first game there ever where both teams are in the top 10.

UCLA QB Iamaleava is out for the season, could make their game vs Wisconsin a bit more interesting

Chesney is really good. Also, UCLA's schedule is very not good. The borderline top 20 Oregon team they just beat (without the Ducks' starting QB) is probably the best team they'll play all season. They could play the 2024 IU role this year, which is funny because Chesney was Cignetti's successor at JMU. What I guess I'm saying is be ready for UCLA to have an undefeated national championship season in 2027.

There's a pretty good argument he already did, he likely could've made more the last few years on whatever free agent deal he'd have gotten post 2023 than he did on the deal he signed.

I didn't see the full game but Arch Manning throwing 2 picks to essentially win the game for OU when they have a borderline nonfunctional offense is really bad quarterbacking.

In this case equally likely that Nebraska failing to close out a game is inevitable. 0 for their last 31 against ranked teams

Fewer Cubs games, and less money for the players, in exchange for more crap shoot baseball, none of which I care about if it doesn't involve the Cubs These horsefeatherss are intentionally making their proposals more and more laughable and awful

I don't care one bit that the White Sox are having success. Admittedly I am a little annoyed that the Cubs drew (at the time) the hottest team on the planet and even had they beaten them would've had to get through the supernatural Brewers, while the White Sox drew probably the easiest bracket in the history of the MLB playoffs - but that annoyance would apply to any team in the White Sox' current position.

Other than maybe the playoff game in January, that's easily the best I've ever seen him look. That sideline throw to McMillan on 3rd and 14 was Hall of Fame horsefeathers. New play caller deserves a lot of credit, this looks like a completely different offense.

Advanced numbers think the Huskers are severely underrated. IU has yet to blow out a team with a pulse. I expect at least a close game there.
