Exactly. There's no way Herrera is a big enough upgrade defensively over Coghlan at 2B to offset his vastly inferior bat.

Hey I'm gonna get (justifiably) yelled at for this, but is there anywhere where people are talking about Eddy Julio Martinez? I rarely check the Amateur, Minor League, or Transaction boards and looking at them I don't see any chat about him and the Cubs potential (apparently disputed??) signing of him.

 

Obviously its kind of a strange time to talk about him with whats going on with the team at the major league level, I'm just curious
