  1. In before Derwood googles "we did it gif" and posts the first one he sees.
  2. Move this thread to the General Baseball forum.
  3. The biggest problem with Ross is that it will suck a lot more if he sucks because I love him.
  4. It's always smart to start a bench-clearing fight and a bean war with a team that's out of it and you're hoping to go on a playoff run. Bean Molina every AB the next 2 days, what a moron.
  5. Bryant for Betts Contreras for Jon Gray or equivalent Sign Grandal Sign or trade for someone to platoon with Heyward in CF RF- Betts 1B- Rizzo SS- Baez LF- Schwarber C - Grandal/Caratini 3B- Bote CF- Heyward/platoon 2B- Hoerner Gray Hendricks Darvish Lester Quintana/Chatwood/Alzolay Bullpen: I don't even want to try to sort out that horsefeathering train wreck.
  6. Well, at least it won't be a 1 run game.
  7. I have to imagine even Kimbrel knew this was coming. Unless this is some sort of passive-aggressive move against Theo, Joe is the only person watching this game who didn’t know this was coming.
  8. And then pray that Theo figures out he's incapable of drafting pitchers and stops trying.
  9. I refuse to believe Joe is watching these games and thinking the moves he's making are the ones that give them the best chance to win. I really don't think he wants to be out there, and I definitely don't want him out there.
  10. Isn't this like the 3rd or 4th time in just the past couple weeks that Joe has cost us a game by inexplicably taking out a starter who's cruising after 90'ish pitches?
  11. If Maddon had let Lester throw 110 pitches instead of only 94, then he might start to wear down by the time we get to the world ser-oh we finished 3rd place and missed the playoffs oops.
  12. Theo's complete inability to admit to and move on from a mistake is really starting to cripple this organization.
  13. Best I can gather, his excuse is that in the bottom half of the inning, the home team gets to bat. [tweet] [/tweet]
  14. Besides teams that are purposefully tanking, I've never seen a team less interested in having the best 25 players possible. I mean, Descalso is still on the team.
  15. Old pitchers stop being good at some point. I have no doubt Strop is giving it all he has. There's no excuse for Maddon to keep putting him in those spots. He was the only person watching that game who thought it was a good idea. There's no reason to take Hendricks out after 90 pitches when he's allowed 2 hits. You don't win many games scoring 2 runs, but this was a game they should have won even scoring 2 runs. 100% on Maddon. A manager should not be costing a team this many games.
