    I have to imagine even Kimbrel knew this was coming. Unless this is some sort of passive-aggressive move against Theo, Joe is the only person watching this game who didn’t know this was coming.

    I refuse to believe Joe is watching these games and thinking the moves he's making are the ones that give them the best chance to win. I really don't think he wants to be out there, and I definitely don't want him out there.

    Isn't this like the 3rd or 4th time in just the past couple weeks that Joe has cost us a game by inexplicably taking out a starter who's cruising after 90'ish pitches?

    If Maddon had let Lester throw 110 pitches instead of only 94, then he might start to wear down by the time we get to the world ser-oh we finished 3rd place and missed the playoffs oops.

    Theo's complete inability to admit to and move on from a mistake is really starting to cripple this organization.

    Besides teams that are purposefully tanking, I've never seen a team less interested in having the best 25 players possible. I mean, Descalso is still on the team.

    Old pitchers stop being good at some point. I have no doubt Strop is giving it all he has. There's no excuse for Maddon to keep putting him in those spots. He was the only person watching that game who thought it was a good idea. There's no reason to take Hendricks out after 90 pitches when he's allowed 2 hits. You don't win many games scoring 2 runs, but this was a game they should have won even scoring 2 runs. 100% on Maddon. A manager should not be costing a team this many games.

    So clever of Maddon to start Russell over Garcia most days so Garcia is well-rested to come in and knock the horsefeathers out of the ball the 2-3 games a week he plays.

    I just really don’t see how things get much better while Theo is here. The league seems to have passed him by, hard. And the man is as capable of admitting a mistake as Russell. I mean, what’s the hope? That we’ll sign a couple big FA next year? That should go well. Are we waiting for Hoerner and....Brennan Davis? to save us?

    Looks like Kimbrel's 40 whatever million can be added to Theo's mountain of dead payroll.

    The most shocking thing about the roster to me is that Theo isn’t still trying to stash Duensing at the end of the bullpen.
