  1. wait matt miller was running the pettiest scams of all time, stealing people's fantasy football entrance fees? feels beneath someone to do but you never know with folks. also a bummer about his arm thats horsefeathered up
  2. I mean it does seem like an extraordinary measure that only happened because the president of the United States of America intervened. And the head of FIFA previously gave him a hilarious “peace prize” recently.
  3. I’ll say this as someone who doesn’t follow much soccer this has been an incredible introduction to the sport
  4. thank god there are interesting world cup matches on today
  5. if the cubs would like to win this game and avoid a sweep, i suggest they score more runs
  6. I gotta tell you, I have zero memory of this Randy Winn fella, and I apparently watched baseball throughout his entire career Career 99 OPS+. He is like the platonic ideal of an Average Outfielder.
  7. the 2026 Cubs are addicted to being streaky. oh well, i guess thats just the ride they want to take us on
  8. "Iceman" is too ubiquitous a nickname for someone for Caleb to trademark, honestly. I'm fine with him having it as just something we (and Jeff Joniak) call him. I love that he has a nickname that isn't his initials and his number or something. Long have the glory days of real fun nicknames passed. Now the best we can hope for is "Touchdown Tom"
  9. If Rome is healthy, I think he leads in catches. I think Burden leads in yards, and Loveland in Touchdowns. Also I hate those all-white uni's, but hey, we're living in an era where they need as many alternate unis out there as possible so we have to live with them.
  10. Thank god the Cubs actually figured out a way to win that because if they lost the PCA-Cycle-Game I would have given up on the team the rest of the season. (Is that good? Should I do that anyway?)
  11. frankly, i find it offensive the cubs are gonna win this last one with an offensive explosion. at least have the dignity to get swept.
  12. the only thing i can say about this is if the cubs were gonna have one of the absolute worst stretches of baseball i can imagine i'd rather it happen early than late
  13. Of course. I'll believe they're actually moving to Indiana when they actually put a shovel in dirt, not a second earlier. And maybe not even then!
  14. Not to get this to be too political, but it is very funny the GOP is making shoveling hundreds of millions of dollars to a billionaire family (with almost nothing in return!) as a huge political "win" for them
  15. I look forward to getting some sort of strange, obscure cancer from attending a Bears game in an abandoned steel mill
  16. i do have to say i'm impressed at how much bad blood the Bears organization has manufactured over something as silly and inconsequential as building a stadium. They've almost perfectly managed to look as stupid, craven and greedy as possible. Bravo.
  17. 1. I still don’t believe them 2. I don’t care if they move to Hammond. Go. Who cares
  18. Yes “a Jared Verse” any player possibly comparable that the Rams would be interested in, correct
  19. I dont know if we have a Jared Verse on the roster, but if the price was a Verse-esque player, a 1st round pick, a 2nd next year and a 3rd the following year.... I'm considering it for the Bears. It probably immediately puts them in Super Bowl conversation. But it's a risk for a year or two window, no doubt.
  20. 25 years of being Bears fan and the thing that's pissed me off more than the decades of football incompetence and never being able to find a QB or renovating a stadium that was smaller than the one that previously sat there and etc. etc. are these stupid stadium shenanigans. I'm so bored with it. Stop it! I'm bored! Just declare you're building on Arlington Heights. It makes me keep thinking about Brandon Johnson, who I don't really want to think about, or Indiana, which I also don't really ever want to think about! You're pissing me off!
