    Honestly I have to imagine if the Packers don’t turn it around this year LaFleur is gone. May not be fair, but I think it’s coming. And I think they’d be doing the rest of the NFC North a favor because I do think he’s a good coach, but sometimes you hit too much disappointment in a row and it’s gotta be done.

    My feelings around the 2026 Cubs revolve around whether or not they can hit 90 wins. If they can, I'll feel ok about this very weird VERY up and down season. if they can't, I'll consider it a mildly weird disappointing season if they don't go on a shockingly fun and long postseason run.

    I just.... I just can't imagine Carson Wentz doing what he did yesterday again. Maybe I should. Maybe our defense is just so porous and Kevin O'Connell and the Vikings skill position players are so good that it doesn't matter. Maybe Carson Wentz has 37 points in him against us. But I just. I can't see it, even though there are very good reasons to think they can be a problem. I just see the Bears romping.

    It’ll be interesting to see what the Carson Wentz Vikings can do against this defense. It’ll be a very Movable Object vs Stoppable Force i expect the Bears offense to put up 35+ of course

    We’ve suffered through so much. We definitely more than deserve to see a Legit Dude there at QB. I think we can say definitively, Caleb is that dude. And Ben Johnson knows offense, if nothing else. barring bad luck (knock on as much wood as you got around) we’re in for a fun 5-10 years.

    Perhaps the Packers could consider being bad for 15 straight years and having dogshit quarterback play for 30 straight years. It worked for us. I’m curious how it plays for them.

    if Kyler Murray is out any significant amount of time, the Vikings winning vs. Green Bay and then shambling into Chicago with Carson Wentz is the best situation I can possibly imagine???

    If they can achieve merely "bad" instead of "perhaps worst defense in the league" we're a Super Bowl contender.

    Yeah I saw him back out there a series or two later. Perhaps I have set the goal post too low, but the D-Line was better today. Not great, not highly disruptive, but they got pressure with 4 more than a few times. The DBs were just brutal aside from Muhammad. didn’t see anything from Booker either.

    In any other context, it would be meanspirited to score 59 points, but they really kinda needed all of them this game. And they might all season. This is fun!
