  1. You know me so well 🙂 Actually I was thinking about doing the math but I knew that I would be pulling from the stretch where the Cubs sucked everywhere thus skewing the numbers. They've been slightly above .500 at home since that stretch I believe.
  2. Cubs now 30-23 (.566) at home and 32-25 (.561) on the road. Don't worry im not going to make this a thing, I just can't help but feel like we seem to be playing better on the road the last couple months. Edit: Also the Cubs have scored 0, 2, 0 runs in their last 3 games in innings that don't start with a Manfred Man. Streaky offense, just a speed bump? Hopefully
  3. is it just me or does it seem like the Cubs are consistently playing better on the road than they do at home?
  4. I'm sorry I haven't been following the minors that hard lately, I swear it feels like they just have endless random pitchers I've never heard of to call up.
  5. Hopefully this game is fast because it's supposed to rain pretty hard starting mid-afternoon and is not going to stop the rest of the day. Guessing if it goes into rain delay it's not going to resume today.
  6. Its funny how over the last 3 years I went from "crap that's a hit" to "crap thats a hit, oh wait we have PCA" to "PCA's got this" on hits like that to CF.
  7. Nice series win and nice road trip. The 2 games we lost kind of sucked but both by 1 run. I'll take 5-2 against division rivals.
  8. He's only allowed 17 HR in 79 IP, what could go wrong?
  9. The crazy thing is he immediately blindly threw it in the direction of second base and it was almost right on target.
  10. I know he only threw 9 pitches but thats kind of wild as our most reliable reliever in the middle of a 17 day in a row stretch. Holy moly PCA...might be another 5 star catch
  11. Not a good time for a patented Bregman popup unless its deep enough for a tag up
  12. Ugh leadoff single, warning track shot and easy GIDP
  13. I honestly don’t know much about like 2/3rd of the bullpen so I’ll take your word on it haha. Sounds like the Cubs type
  14. It was ****** but he gave up a GB that is an out most of the time, and another weak grounder. The walk and the double (and falling behind Walker) were pretty ****** though
  15. I'm more mad that this ruined PCA's awesome HR than actually losing the game, is there something wrong with me?
  16. Definitely a good idea to have the guy who gives up a ton of HRs pitch in a walk off situation.
  17. Damn 102.9mph 28 degree LA off PCAs bad ends up an out
  18. Yeah at this point you have to burn your bullpen to try to stay in the game.
  19. Taillon now has the worst WAR in baseball for any pitcher with more than 35 IP this year.
  20. So he's now allowed 17 ER in 13.1 IP against the Pirates this year
