  1. If it comes from Twitter, it's not a reliable source.
  2. I've never wanted a company and event to crash so hard as this one, including the abominations that are LIV golf and FIFA.
  3. I hope they lose 3 games in empty stadiums and the entire event is a massive bust for the administration.
  4. Mildly disappointed, but I'd be more disappointed if the FO tried to smart brain it and reach for someone else. The top 4 are still a tier above everyone else.
  5. I disagree, I see Wilson as another Buzelis, and basically the only thing he has over Boozer is athleticism, plus Wilson is coming off a season ending injury. Boozer was basically the college Nikola Jokic last season, and was far and away the best and most efficient player in the college game. However, I am quietly hoping the Grizzlies get wooed by the athleticism so they can get their version of Patrick Williams. Basically, this is the player I want at 4 in order: 1. Cam Boozer, 2. AJ Dybantsa, 3. Caleb Wilson, 4. Darryn Peterson If they can get Boozer and a PG to pair with Buzelis going forward, they'll suddenly be a fun young team to watch instead of a perennial also-ran that plays outdated basketball.
  6. Quietly hoping Cam Boozer falls to them at 4, which would be a slam dunk for the franchise. With how strong this draft is, if they can also somehow trade themselves into another top 8 pick, getting one of the 4 tier 2 guards (Wagler, Acuff, Flemings, Burries) AND Boozer would really set up the franchise for a fun youth movement right away.
  7. I'd love to have 2020 Andrew Chafin or 2016 Carl Edwards available. Is that a possibility? Though, at that rate, could I get May 1998 Kerry Wood instead? That would probably help more.
  8. Cubs have won 15 straight home games. No other team in MLB has 15 home wins.
  9. So far this year there have been 2 winning streaks of 9 or more games. Both are by the Cubs.
  10. There are now just 2 teams over .500 in the AL, the Rays and Yankees. There are 10 teams over .500 in MLB. There are 5 teams over .500 in the NL Central.
  11. BTW, happy Kerry Wood game day to all who celebrate:
  12. The Tigers lead the AL Central, but would be in last in the NL Central, 1.5 games behind the current 5th place Brewers.
  13. Only 11 teams overall are over .500 this year, and 5 of them are in the NL Central.
  14. If the Cubs just don't lose another home game this season, I feel good about their postseason chances.
  15. The Rays are now 22-12. They went 5-10 against the 5 NL Central teams, who they're done playing for the season. They're now 17-2 against everyone else in the league.
  16. Positives: He's not a Paxson roadie, he was found by the hiring firm. He got out of New Orleans right when Dumars was hired there, so he's not a complete idiot. Atlanta fans are really disappointed he left after reshaping the team this year into a genuine playoff contender. Cons: First timer like AKME. Reinsdorf still owns the Bulls.
  17. I like what Robert Mays said about the pick. He wanted EDGE, but if you're picking between a B- EDGE or a B+ safety, there's no harm in grabbing the safety.
  18. I think Dillon Thieneman is a gift at 25. I hope some of the good edge rushers are still there at 57.
  19. I am pleased.
  20. Theineman or Faulk would make me pleased.
  21. Dallas drafts an EDGE but not Faulk.
