    Here's how I think the teams are sorting themselves out 1/4 of the way into the season: 1. Nearly flawless so far - 49ers, Jaguars, Chiefs 2. Couple flaws, but still really good - Bears, Vikings, Seahawks, Bills, Ravens 3. Good teams with more flaws - Rams, Bengals, Raiders, Panthers 4. Probably better than I think they are - Cowboys, Broncos, Falcons, Colts, Lions 5. Kind of just waiting for the bottom to fall out - Pats, Giants, Steelers, Eagles 6. Can't believe they're 0-4, they can possibly be that bad right? - Texans, Bucs 7. Can't believe they're 3-1, they can't possibly be good right? - Browns 8. Haven't given up yet, but not looking good - Jets, Cardinals, Packers, Saints 9. Fighting for the #1 pick - Chargers, Commanders, Titans, Dolphins

    In the realm of analytics that still have meaning, the Bears are up to 8th in DVOA this week (they were 11th last week), on the strength of the 9th ranked offense and 6th ranked defense because nothing makes sense so far. https://ftnfantasy.com/nfl/week-4-dvoa-rams-and-panthers-rising Teams above them: 49ers, Chiefs, Jags, Bills, Ravens, Seahawks, Rams. Of those, only the Rams are a team I would look a little skeptically of, and that's mostly due to their week 1 performance which is starting to look like an outlier.

    First time in over 20 years the Bears are favored in Lambeau (September 10, 2006, the Rex Super Bowl year).

    Just as we all expected after week 1, through 4 weeks the Bears D has allowed a total of 65 points, which is the 4th best scoring defense in the NFL. And that offense that nearly got 60 has scored a total of 112 points, good enough for 9th best scoring offense in the NFL.

    Sold off to a venture capital company last offseason, who promptly laid off all the data experts and didn't replace them with anyone, which makes me think their grades are being AI generated now.

    I mean, they got the score of the game wrong.

    I mean, Caleb still isn't back, but I am of the opinion the elements played a massive role in the outcome of that game, more so than Flores. It's unfortunate that they play on what might be the worst turf in the NFL with the best offense in the NFL, but aside from that handicap they've outplayed every opponent. Even in week 2, if Swift holds onto the ball and Caleb's hamstring doesn't give, the game is 17-9 and nobody is second guessing.

    He was limited in practice this week and fumbled today. I think it was more that Monangai was working and they were effective enough without him.

    Through 3 weeks, the NFL has been a bit of a cluster with some bizarre outcomes. Here's how I feel the teams are grouped so far: 1. Great teams that have played great - San Francisco, Jacksonville, Buffalo, Kansas City, Seattle 2. Good teams that have played well aside from one or two hiccups - Chicago, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Detroit, Denver, Philly 3. Teams that have overachieved that I'm not sure are actually good - Minnesota, Las Vegas, Cleveland 4. Teams that have underachieved that I still think are actually good - LA Rams, Dallas 5. Middling teams, middling results - Pittsburgh, NY Giants, Carolina 6. Feisty bad teams - NY Jets, Indianapolis, Washington, New Orleans 7. Teams that were supposed to be good that I think are just actually really bad - Houston, New England, Green Bay, Tampa Bay 8. Teams that a good team should have no excuse to lose to - Arizona, Atlanta, Tennesee, LA Chargers, Miami

    Cleveland is now alone in first place in the AFC North. They have wins against the Panthers, Falcons and Steelers. I would say they'll get a reality check when the tough part of their schedule kicks in, but...I think they already played their toughest game week 1 against Jacksonville. Their next 6 games are against the Jets, Ravens, Titans, Steelers again, Saints, and Texans. Their entire schedule consists of their 6 division games, 4 games against the AFC South (which, they already played the Jags), the NFC South, and cross divisional games against the Jets, Raiders, and Giants.

    Felt like Kane was the best player on the ice for the Blackhawks last night, and that just can't be the case going forward if they want to actually compete for a playoff spot.

    I'm not going to say for sure Hurts got concussed from that sideline hit, but he was a different player in the second half.

    In their first 40 minutes of the season, the Bears defense gave up 4 TDs. In their last 140 minutes of football, the Bears defense has given up 2 TDs.
