Wish this was a day game. All the noon college games suck balls

 

 

Perfect for me, get family time/errands done before 2:30 (doing great with that since I'm posting on NSBB right now). Then when Michigan/Michigan St is over I get 90 minutes to bask in the afterglow of victory (hopefully) before the game starts.

I've got the Cubs and PSU on at the same time. I need two TVs (or need to find a stream for one of them on the laptop)

Why do people assume Syndergaard or Harvey are going to go Madison Bumgartner on us. And some of these same people discount Lester as if he's mediocre.

 

I had both these guys on my fantasy team and followed them all year. For two guys that have such dominating stuff they got hit a fair amount this year by many mediocre teams and rarely went deep into a game.

 

I'd much much rather face these guys than Kershaw or Greinke. I think the Cubs should be able to hit them. Hope I'm not wrong.

the media has already crowned the Mets the NL representative in the World Series, so forget them. MLB Network was equally as bad last night led by the King Cardinals fan Greg Amzinger. Hopefully everyone sees it this way as the Cubs shock the world.

Not to mention that the Cubs got past the other 2 best teams in baseball with more ease than the Mets handled LA. Damned facts.

Career high in IP (2015 IP with postseason):

 

DeGrom: 178.2 (204.0)

Harvey: 178 (194.1) + coming off tjs in 2014

Syndergaard: 133 (187)

Matz: 140.2 (145.2) + missed starts being hurt this year

 

At what point do these guys start running out of gas?

Man I don't think I had fully realized how bad the bottom half of the Mets lineup is. Hopefully I don't regret saying this.
