Obviously, it's ideal if we go on to win the World Series, but compared to '07 and '08, when we were swept out of the first round, I feel like after knocking the Pirates and Cardinals out of the playoffs under a rain of dongs, I wouldn't be absolutely devastated if we lost against the Mets.

 

That said, sweep these fucks and win the NL, Cubbies.

I don't even hate Mr. Met. I'm thankful that once this series is over and we've donged them into a fetal position.....That Mr. Met's oversized skull and complete stupidity will keep him alive. He deserves to see his team make it back next year and the year after that. To see the same occurrence continue to evolve. Each year it'll get a bit worse for him.

 

3 seasons of this and he'll figure out he needs to OD on boner pills.

I don't know how anyone could not be nervous. I'm confident for tonight's game and the series as a whole, but also very nervous that things could snowball if tonight doesn't go well.
