    I find this Rays team to be annoying.

    They literally are not playing by the same rules, with small market teams getting extra compensation that large market teams don't get. Essentially, MLB is telling large market teams they HAVE to spend more to maintain an even playing field.

    I'm with you on most of that. There is a lot of Brewers hate going around, but I certainly don't hate them like I do the Cardinals. Is it annoying that they repeatedly finish ahead of the Cubs? Sure. But they are a good team with a good front office and manager, and they have some likeable players. I find it hard to root against them. With that said, I'm still rooting for Cleveland.

    Oddly enough, I have no memory whatsoever of the 2017 playoffs. Very vivid memories throughout 2016, but I don't think I could tell you a single thing that happened in the 2017 playoffs.

    The Caleb injury is going to cost Bagent big time. How quickly he went from highly regarded backup who could be a future starter in the league to an unreliable backup who could be out of the league soon.

    Nice drive, but it's all negated if they don't get a stop here. With the Packers getting the ball to start the second half, the Bears can't allow anymore points here.

    I truly don't even know who to root for in this series. I would love to see the Guardians end their long World Series drought, but I can't root against this White Sox team either. As much as it would sting to have another World Series from the other side of town, I like seeing them play meaningful baseball again.

    I'm not sure if it has been discussed elsewhere, but this Otis Wilson stuff is disturbing. There is clearly something not right with him. He was interviewed briefly last week before a game and he did not seem with it, at all. I don't know if it is drugs, alcohol, CTE, or some combination thereof.
