    But if Sutcliffe fills in on the West Coast, then they dont have to pay JD's travel and per diem. That sounds ridiculous for a team worth what the Cubs are, but it may just be reality.

    I have no idea if numbers back this up, but so often it feels like the trailing team starts getting calls that the leading team doesn't. The team in the lead has to earn their points, while the trailing team is given the benefit of the doubt to keep the game close. Again, this could all be in my head, but I'm not sure that it is.

    The foul on Illinois against Blackwell in OT was as egregious a call you will ever see. Considering the importance of that moment in the game makes it even worse. Illinois put themselves in that position and deserved to lose, but that doesn't excuse the referees for such an awfully called game. I don't watch enough non-B1G games to know whether it is like this all across college basketball, but B1G officiating is unacceptably poor and wildly inconsistent.

    I'm not sure whether it is really the shoulder, or that the scouting report is out now and teams are playing him much more physically than they were earlier in the season.

    I would also prefer the first baseman to be taller than 5'6".

    This team cant even tank right. They are hopeless.

    NCAA is perfectly content letting their golden child head coach handle matters in-house, which he won't actually do.

    A step slow, not very strong, and shooting terribly. He is a big guy who doesn't do big guy things, and now he can't shoot either.

    That isn't happening. We all know how this plays out. The roster will be completely different again next season, with maybe 2 or 3 (non-Wagler) guys from the current team coming back.

    Yeah, it's stupid, but I guess they can probably make more money by selling the time to a sports gambling outfit.

    I thought the game was called fairly well. You just can't let a team go all the way down the court for a layup in 5 seconds. Inexcusable.

    Hopefully this is only a temporary step to getting full ABS in the near future.

    Meh. On one hand, it's closer to where I live, and MUCH closer than Arlington Heights. On the other hand, I've never been to a Bears game in person, so what do I care? But I guess if Hammond is able to draw concerts and other big events, that could be nice.
