  1. He throws a bunch of darts and occasionally one of them hits the board, but it's really just a random occurrence when that happens.
  2. Jaxon Wiggins may not be ready, but he's going to have to get a shot out of sheer desperation.
  3. This is fun, but don't let it turn into a series where the Cubs are +12 and lose 3 out of 4.
  4. I predict he won't get a chance to bat... (He isn't in the game)
  5. I think I would get Nico out of the game after this at bat and let him get a few innings off. He's not going to get many chances for a break.
  6. There's not really any question this is your #1 starter for a playoff series.
  7. It's crazy they are still leaving him out there through these extended innings.
  8. I'm still not comfortable with 6. Holmes isn't going deep in this one.
  9. If he keeps hitting home runs at this pace, he may get to 50 before he gets 40 stolen bases.
  10. Everytime I hear some "expert" suggest "Ohtani fatigue" as a possible contributing factor to PCA winning the MVP, I want to punch them in the face. PCA is having an objectively better season and it isn't even close. Anyone who suggests otherwise is attempting to minimize the incredible season that PCA has had, but why? We all know Ohtani is great, but it's ok to admit that someone else has been better.
  11. Funny you should mention 2005 Derrek Lee. It is insane to think that PCA is doing everything he is doing, but is still nowhere close (.954) to 2005 Lee (1.080) in OPS. I get that it was a totally different environment for hitters, but interesting nonetheless.
  12. A last place team? You guys have seen actual last place Cubs teams, right? Flawed as the 2026 squad may be, this isn't even close.
  13. Votto is a bit of a weird dude... in a kind of interesting baseball psycho kind of way.
  14. That is still incredibly unlikely, but it may FEEL like they missed the playoffs if they go to Philadelphia and lose two straight.
