Probably do a mutual off day- August 6th maybe. New reports say the rain might hold off until 3pm on Sunday so maybe they bump up the start time an hour -
Rain has cleared out. Based on reports from last night I thought there was only about a 20% chance of getting this game in Im going to the game on father's day. Not looking good. Hopefully they are wrong

What is strange is that some of these games for the countries playing are in the middle of the night back in their country but they could have easily moved it to the late start time US time to make it more manageable. Also, why is the US match on at 2pm Central on Friday? Fox probably would prefer it in primetime.

Sorry guys I usually only follow soccer during the WC. How come Chicago isn't a host site? I saw some blurb from Rahm saying he didn't want the city to foot the enormous bill that the WC brings. Is there more to it? I remember 1994 and it being cool having Soldier Field hosting some games.
