This is the correct and only answer. If i am Jed or any other GM just prepare for 2028. Don't blow away your prospects. Hand the trophy to LA. Cubs should just hope the Brewers get the #1 seed so they have a chance to reach the LCS.

Different topic but in 2003 I bought a Prior jersey for like $150, a lot of money for me as well. I bought it on a game day and sat in the bleachers. Drunk dude spilled a Budweiser on it and me after the game ate a burrito from some delicious place just south of Sluggers and the hot sauce spilled all over it and stained it lol. Still wore it for a few years after
