I’ve had enough of this horsefeathers.

They should let the Cubs start every inning with a ghost runner on 2nd

We'd somehow score fewer runs that way

[ILMindState]

Tonight they lose from lack of hitting with RISP. Tomorrow the bullpen will blow it. Microcosm of the whole season in 2 games.

Still well above what we expected. Just threw 96 to strike out Dansby.

That's pretty normal. Boyd is averaging 95mph.

2mph in the playoffs in shorter stints is pretty "realm of what happens"

Two brutal third strike swings from Bregman tonight

He can't hit (or maybe see) that slider.

[Funky-daddy]

I’m all for dooming but if breggy doesn’t get so far ahead of that hanger it’s a tie game. Boyd settled in in inning two. Fingers crossed

Boy that Michael King guy sure does suck

[BigSlick]

I really hope this is one of those games where the Cubs get a guy in scoring position every inning and fail to score

[s2obed]

I’m enjoying Kershaw providing some good pitching analysis though.

[UMFan83]

It’s time to remove Boyd

[DrCub]

This pitching staff is pathetic.

The entire booth is really good, all things considered.

[Tryptamine]

Boyd is absolutely terrified of Machado and Tatis, that's pathetic.

[abuck1220]

if there was ever a time for a mid at bat 2-0 pitching change that was it

[Funky-daddy]

Have we already discussed how the play by play guy is clearly rooting for the padres

[Andy]

horsefeathers hell, Boyd

[Jason Ross]

horsefeathers.

[mk49]

They should just walk Tatis and Machado.

[We Got The Whole 9]

You just cant horsefeathers allow that to happen. ****** walk leads to a crippling 2-out run.

This game is why Skubal is an absolute must have this offseason. They cannot miss on him.

[UMFan83]

Seriously you have like 6 guys stretched out to pitch 3+ innings and your season is on the brink. It’s really time to put someone else in but no one is even warming

[Tangled Up in Plaid]

they have one more inning to get to king or they're gonna get shut out by rodriguez/morejon/miller

[PeanutPunch33]

It’s probably not that pathetic since they’re solely responsible for all 3 of their runs
