    I'm really at the point where I would like to see one of the young guys come up for some spot starts. I like Assad, I like Rea but I feel like the rotation really needs an injection of excitement. Maybe a young guy could do that.

    Totally fair. I get it. I'd like to see that come down in the second half as well. Age is on his side at the moment so I'm cautiously optimistic.

    Oh im not panicking. Just think its a genuine option. That wasnt a dig or anything. Our pitching is decimated right now obviously. I could see him getting some spot starts this year.

    Where do we think Fernando Cruz should be right now? He's had a decent start to the season in the ACL and seems to be fully healthy from that shoulder injury. K rate is still too high but the OBP and slugging are encouraging and hes holding his own average wise. Curious to see what he will do at MB as I think he gets promoted there for the second half of the year. Another offseason of conditioning and weight training and I think he has a strong chance to breakout next season. I'd probably have him at 17-21 as I'm still a bit higher on him then most and I believe the defense and speed will carry him up to the big leagues long term.
