  1. wait, Hartshorn got promoted? I completely missed that...
  2. PCAs approach at the plate has been so much better so far this year. Hes gonna pass his walk total from last season here in the next couple weeks.
  3. Good points. Dont disagree with them and I am not 100% blaming Zombro. He has time with me, but just color me unimpressed similar to how I am with Cabrera (who I still believe in). I'm just so apathetic with Cubs pitching development.
  4. Agreed. Wing and McGwire have been impressive so far so there could be a wave coming but I have little faith in it right now.
  5. Yep. This year has been an absolute disaster for pitching. The Conrad pick was a good pick at the time, and I still believe he can be a good player, once healthy, but Jed and DK really need to stop taking pre injured players, especially pitchers. I mean in 2022 didn't they take like 8 pitchers that had just had Tommy John? The strategy isnt working and were seeing it in real time right now with the complete lack of impact pitching prospects at higher levels though I will admit there are some promising arms in the lower levels. Wicks was a bust, Horton is probably a future high end reliever as I do not trust him to stay healthy ever again. Wiggins, the jury is still out on, but this is an organization that is clueless on how to develop pitchers. I mean they have had what 4 homegrown pitchers reach the bigs since 2019? Also, Ive been extremely unimpressed with Zombro so far.
  6. Yeah. Agreed. That's compelling enough for me to do it. Could possibly give the lineup the jolt it needs to get out of this funk.
  7. I dont hate that idea at all. PCA is clearly pressing right now.
  8. Scary part is, its not even the 4th of July yet. This could be leading up to a monster 2nd half for him if he continues his trends.
  9. Kepley needs to be promoted already. I wanna see how he handles AA pitching.
  10. He's gonna be a really popular name at the trade deadline.
  11. The AL Central is pretty weak right now. I can see them standing pat if they are in the division race coming out of July. They are at least putting a respectable team on the field every night which is good. I do agree with you though. Id be looking to move overperforming guys.
  12. I dont know if we can afford to trade Wiggins with how the pitching looks for 2027 on. Not opposed to trading him but has to be for the right pitcher.
  13. Its impressive how much of an offensive blackhole dansby can be
  14. Ive liked that we have seen some breakouts and development this season. The pitching in the farm is absolutely dismal right now. Really excited about Hartshorn though.
  15. Makes sense considering their strategy with Conrad last year. Personally, I always like the idea of going position player first and then loading up with arms the rest of the way with a couple high schoolers.
  16. Cant wait for it to warm up a bit more. Bats are just ice cold right now. They will get it back.
  17. yeah. I expected this but I have faith he will adjust.
  18. Murakami has adapted to the MLB a lot better than I anticipated. I thought he would flop this year. Still concerned about that K-rate but he is a fun player to watch, I think the Sox should try and trade him and sell high but he's a fun story.
  19. That would be such a white sox decision lol
