My scouting report after seeing Hartshorn in person last night is he is baaaaad in RF. Gave up a couple hits with absolutely horrible routes. Almost like he didn't even see the ball at all it was that bad.

It's a slap in the face to any past, present, and future Cubs player or fan to have to witness another Taillon start.

How do you ignore Wicks? He can start and is a lock down closer. Can any of those other guys do that?

Yeah he’s not good at all but by the end of the game I’ve had a good time.

When the offseason started I wanted Cease, Imai, and Cabrera. I had no interest in Bregman because of his age, declining bat speed and he was coming off an injury. I probably completely overreacted when they missed on Imai haha. I was hopeful and willing to give them the benefit of the doubt when they signed Bregman but oof, he’s who I was worried about. I don’t think he’s gonna be much better than what you see now. A good defender who hovers around a league average bat with no pop.
