Very frustrating game considering the Cubs hit 54 balls to the warning track and/or the Orioles made insane plays of 115 mph scorchers

Yes Brasier threw a 0-2 cookie over the middle of the plate and another 2 strike cookie for a 416 ft HR

He sure as heck let 2 of those 4 runs on base!

Circle of trust is a dot at this point.

Good thing we have the deadline to get a lockdown pen arm to pair with Palencia.  Oh wait

Well this isn't annoying at all. 416 feet into the wind too.

I'm trying to remind myself the wind knocked down a Baltimore homer yesterday and it isn't just us

I thought the Brewers had a harder schedule after the break, but this week disproves that

I just came into this thread to post this exact thing:

Brewers have the Nats this weekend and also SL/PIt/Arizona this month as well. Granted, they have 4 against the Cubs too but in NO way do we have an easier schedule than they do...its not really close. They have a much easier sched. in August.

As I typed this the almighty Thielbar's magic has run out. He has absolutely NOTHING today after Brasier looked almost as bad. We aren't gonna win with these re-treads and it was a minor miracle we won in the first half of the season with them. They suck...just wasted a great start by Boyd who looks sick in the dugout. That rolling curve ball that Thielbar hung was pathetic.

It doesn't matter who the Brewers play, assuming they don't pull a Cubs, they'll improve to 47-15 over their last 62 games, playing at a 119-43 pace for 40% of the season.  Good teams, bad teams, doesn't matter.

Well we're a late comeback or overcoming a Rea start from dropping a series at home against a bad team

They were a bad team last week.  Now they are the remnants of a bad team.

I usually feel confident the Cubs could scratch across a couple of runs against a bad bullpen.  Kind of hard to do with a lineup containing 4 automatic outs at the top.
