    Time to activate him to start for the Iowa Cubs on Friday or Saturday.

    I know never say never in baseball but with our staff, I just can’t see us making it past the NLDS. We’ll either face Philly in the WC round and their pitchers will eliminate us. Or we’ll get SD/Ari, maybe advance and then lose to Mil/LAD/Atl.

    So Swanson with left side discomfort which could mean oblique. With our medical staff that’s a 6-8 week injury.

    Only 3 games back and Milwaukee plays 4 in LA and 3 in Atlanta over the next 10 days.

    I haven’t been watching the whole game but that 0-2 pitch, on the outside corner and 6” below the zone had no business going for a base hit.

    The AL East is a poor man's 2015 NL Central. They have the three best teams in the AL, but the way the bracket is set up, if it remains that way, the 2nd and 3rd place teams would play in the WC round with the winner of that playing the division winner. Which also means one team from the AL Central or West will be in the ALCS.

    Got deja vu with the Dec homer in Game 1 against the Dodgers with the audible smack against the scoreboard on Bregman’s homer.

    Yeah, I don’t think he should have sent him but it wasn’t the worst send of all time or anywhere close to it.

    That’s pretty wild. With Swanson, Hoerner and PCA up the middle, I would have guessed this team was closer.
