  1. For a series that's going to go 7, besides Game 1 it's been pretty boring.
  2. They’ll ha the offseason to make trades and a lot of teams would need to add salary. Shouldn’t be too hard to get under.
  3. That’s probably the one I was thinking of.
  4. I haven't watched many Canadiens games in the playoffs, but I swear every time I have tuned in, they're getting outshot 2-1. Didn't they win a game earlier in the postseason despite taking like 14 shots?
  5. Christopher Sanchez went 7 scoreless to extend his scoreless streak to 44 2/3 innings. It’s the 7th longest streak in the Live Ball era and the 11th longest ever.
  6. i wonder how many teams have had a 10+ game winning streak and a 10+ game losing streak in the same season. I know the 2017 Dodgers did. But it can’t be that common.
  7. You’re right about what is says about the East. And they got lucky Boston crapped the bed against Philly. But the East has been bad before and nobody has come close to doing this. https://www.si.com/nba/playoffs/historic-numbers-knicks-winning-streak The Knicks were +221 though 12 games. Second best was the 2017 Warriors at +196. They were +212 over a 9 game stretch which is the larger ever in NBA history, regular and postseason.
  8. This Knicks run is pretty wild. I think I saw through 12 games they had the best point differential ever in the playoffs through 12 games, better than the Warriors team that started 15-0 or that Lakers team that went 15-1. And nobody would have predicted it either. Only one win by under 10 points and both losses were by 1 point.
  9. Didn't you predict this a few weeks ago? Probably during the first 10 game winning streak.
  10. No I didn’t. I was strictly addressing the SEC not wanting to go to 24. Had no idea how lucrative the SEC title game was. Just figured more games would mean more money for all of them, which apparently it doesn’t. Was as simple as that.
  11. I should have guessed it was a money thing when I saw the SEC didn’t want to go to 24.
  12. Been a pretty rough 10 games for the offense. These things happen over the course of a season but still frustrating.
  13. These guys need to pitch with some regularity. He's gone every second or third day since coming back, pitched on Sunday so if he didn't go today, at the earliest he would go on Friday.
  14. What a comeback by the Knicks/choke by the Cavs. They were up 20.
  15. Reports are the Cardinals offered him season tickets. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/48810633/nationals-ban-spectator-banner-promoting-white-nationalist-website
  16. 6 more games of that please. Will be interesting to see how Wemby recovers and if he can sustain this playing every other day. The conference finals are easily the most grueling round of the playoffs because of the every other day schedule.
  17. Not too happy about Xabi Alonso going to Chelsea. On the plus side, he'll be gone in less than 3 years anyway. Elsewhere, man I feel bad for Hearts. Questionable penalty helps Celtic win the previous game. Then they don't trail until late at Celtic on Saturday. Jose Mourinho led Benfica to an undefeated season ... and they finished 3rd in the league, 8 points back of 1st.
  18. Peters had 0 HRs in 126 PAs before today. Quero had 5 in 506 before today (and 0 in 103 this year including a .410 OPS).
  19. Alright let's plate a couple and close it out against the bottom of their order.
