Im getting close to leaning this way, but they have 43 games left until the break, and it mostly against teams they should be able to beat. A currently struggling offense aside, I just dont know if the pitching overall can hold up until guys return from injuries and they actually make trades.
I think if they can win around 25 of these next 43 and stay in range, then it'll be worth making those type of moves, but if they play 500 or below to the break, I think Hoyer should do what he needs to do to get guys like Alcantara, Ramirez, etc up and playing out the second half to see if theyll be part of 2027.
