    Mo Baller ROY Reminding me of when Schwarber first came up and his first couple months just getting big knocks, only difference is Mo showing more power than Schwarber did at the start.

    I think it still does, only because they just get 2 challenges and most hitters are hesitant to use their challenges if it close. Catchers can still steal a few strikes, and obviously if teams use up their challenges early, framing still comes in handy afterwards.

    For him to be 30 again lol, only way I see them actually extending him and/or Suzuki is if Alcantara doesn't look like a guy who can take a spot next season, and if the CBA lockout goes deep into the offseason and teams might consider bringing guys back on 1 year deals for 2027.
