    Yea im sure he will be wearing some kind of protective gear, but not sure what they would have to protect around the eye and not obstruct his vision, but if they have something, he likely might even be wearing it for at least the WC round if it's more than just a swollen black eye. Unless I missed it, dit they officially say what type of injury it is, did they do xrays yet or too swollen yet

    Hes missing at least the Miami series, best hope is he can be ready to go by Saturday and get 2 games in before the playoffs

    Goes to show how bad the pitching has been most of year, especially the bullpen. Unless youre the Rockies. normally if you have an offense scoring that many runs, you should be easily winning 90+ games

    Lol.. I can actually see him trying to bunt for hits the final 3 games if he just needs 1 more. I'd love to see him get on and then steal 2nd and 3rd to get to 40 😅

    Theyll know more probably tomorrow how severe after MRI... Hopefully its low grade and at most misses a month

    Like I said, depends on the grade.. Am I to guess the grade ? If its a grade 1-2, its mild and usually 2-6 weeks, if its a grade 3 then were looking at 8-12 weeks.

    Yea hamstring, depending on grade itll be 3-12 weeks. Bagent good, but not good enough to help them overcome a shaky defense. Going to need the blackhawks to be good enough to get us through the winter now 😒

    Yea, id like to see him get it before the Boston series or at the very least just need 1, really don't want to see him pressing too much trying to get on bsse the whole series to get 2-3 steals.

    PCA only 7 walks and 20 Ks in 65 AB in September. Hes had 2 good games with 7 hits total, 10 in the rest. Tired, pressing, or just not getting balls to drop, hopefully he can get it going again tomorrow and the final 2 series.

    Yep, that what I was saying, doesn't matter if starter holds them to 0 runs or 2 runs, if they dont have a good size lead by the time the bullpen comes in, its a toss up game.
