  1. Alcantara might be Conforto replacement but from the right side... Barring trades, new additions and resigning, bench options as of now.. C. Amaya/Ayers Shaw Ramirez Arias Alcantara
  2. Im hoping they consider going hard after Taira, or Itoh for the rotation. Sato would be a nice big power bat even as DH, in middle of order between Bregman and Suzuki if they bring Suzuki back. 3-6 Bregman Sato Suzuki Busch lol
  3. No doubt they would have too in order to get the needed players to have a competitive team next season, but again itll depend on Ricketts giving Hoyer the green light to do so. If not, we're going to see a few low end deals on Mancini, Hosmer type players and kids like Alcantara, Murray being on opening day roster.
  4. Off season acquisitions since Hoyer been in charge.... 22/23 and 25/26 were the most active offseason out of the 6 with acquiring new players. 20/21 Pederson Zach Davies 21/22 Suzuzi, Stroman and Gomes 22/23 Swanson, Bellinger, Taillon, Mancini, Hosmer 23/24 Imanaga, Busch, Neris 24/25 Tucker 25/26 Bregman, Cabrera, Maton, Harvey, Austin, Milner, Webb only 3 guys really contributed in 2026 So, yea its hard to expect much activity out of Hoyer in the offseason seeing what hes done in his 6 years in charge. I also dont expect any big long term signings only because and depending what happens on CBA and if theres another tax threshold, id be surprise if Ricketts goes over again. Theyll need multiple players if nobody brought back. Probably 2 SP At least 2 Bullpen arms Maybe a Catcher Maybe a DH Both LF, and RF if one isnt resigned Probably a bench bat or two Alot depends on CBA, Arbs and options but it doesn't look like they have alot to spend this offseason if Ricketts wants to stay under any threshold, so if he needs to bring in multiple new faces to fill needs, id expect to see low term deals over high ones to keep payroll under any penalty line they have.
  5. I honestly have no expectations of what Hoyer will do this offseason, i hope they will add someone better, but again, i really dont expect much as of now on all additions.
  6. I dont know about good, they definitely need help, especially for the late innings. Rolison, Zeferjahn, and Palencia is a good start
  7. That isnt saying much lol
  8. I remember years ago my stepdad once told me when we started seeing players from basketball, baseball, and football start getting more hamstring, arms, muscle related injuries. he said this could be happening more now because these kids are focused more on getting bigger, faster, and stronger with weight training in offseason and during then in the past, where it was more stretching, aerobics, and running. Not saying its the reason but makes you wonder sometimes
  9. If they had a kid ready to take over like say 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Rojas lol... Swanson has a full no trade clause, unlikely he'll allow a trade
  10. Doesn't help when over the last few years we had high expectations for a couple pitching prospects that got bitten by injuries. Marquez, and Alzolay and more recently Horton, Birdsell, and Wiggins. Probably add Steele too. So much promise there
  11. Wasn't saying this coming season, just maybe his last season or two if they feel its best for him and team.
  12. Swanson helps with the glove, but eventually age will cost him a step at SS and they need a little better production from him offensively at 27-28 mil per. Maybe a switch to 2B or 3B (Bregman DH) his final 2 years will be considered.
  13. Not much excitement in LDS, where 3 series can end in a sweep, and im sure MLB and TV Networks cant be happy with losing Ad money, etc. Keep an eye on some questionable calls in those games to extend series 😅😅
  14. Boog ever get this excited on a cubs walkoff 🤣🤣
  15. Lol... Its the Brewers year
  16. Padres gonna blow this aren't they 🙄
  17. He also didn't have any run pass options or pulled the ball in and ran himself
  18. Get 500 yards, come on 😅😅😅
  19. Right, both QBs need the defense and running game to be on, but against GB, they need the guy that can take advantage of free plays and limit mistakes.
  20. Getting bailed out with these penalties
  21. Need to eat clock and get another score here
  22. Ugggh, last thing you wanted was them to get a quick TD
  23. Damn, cant punch that ball in at goalline
