  1. I love Ian but he's looked dreadful. I do think that maybe there's something to calling up Alcantara and giving him some at bats and let the other guys get some days off to get their heads right. I don't know if sending Mo down would kill his confidence or help him figure out his swing again.

  4. The Padres make no sense to me. Their stars are all terrible this year. I have as many homers as Tatis this season. Gavin Sheets is their best hitter. The pitching has been mostly mediocre aside from a couple starters and Mason Miller. Yet they're 29-20.
  5. Keegan Thompson had his contract selected by the Rockies. He's up with the club. Brennan Davis is still in AAA but did in fact have his contract selected.
  6. Could it finally be happening? I'd be so happy for him if he makes his MLB debut.
  7. By all accounts he's pretty pleasant, both with teammates and fans. And nothing fascist, subtly or outwardly, that's been noted as far as I know.
  8. A move I'd have loved a couple years ago. Not expecting anything but worth a shot.

  10. I have been told it gets so bad in the summer they needed a place that prioritized AC and comfort but, like, cmon. The team is playing in a cold storage unit.
  11. Giants traded Patrick Bailey to the Guardians. Somewhat surprising. He's not a good hitter but he's by far the best defensive catcher in baseball. Guardians now have an elite but no bat tandem of him and Austin Hedges (who last put up an OPS north of .563 in 2018). Guardians clearly care more about defense and Giants are believers in Jesus Rodriguez/Daniel Susac.
