One positive of the move though is maybe Kepley finally goes up to AA. Or dare they get aggressive with Hartshorn. -

I know Cam Sisneros doesn't have the highest ceiling but why are we trading assets for another DFAd reliever? Jed is literally stockpiling everyone's AAA castoffs. -

27 different pitchers used already. We used 31 all of last season. The amount of injuries is ludicrous.

Michael Rucker's contract purchased by the Mariners. He has a 1.59 ERA in AAA this season. He missed all of last year with TJS. Mariners now have Rucker, Brennen Davis, Patrick Wisdom and Miles Mastrobuoni all on the 40 man roster.

I looked away for like 20 minutes and then saw the score and actually laughed. Someone gets fired over this right? Should be Hoyer but at least has to be Dustin Kelly? Maybe a demotion or two, couple of phantom IL stints. Nothing is working aside from one inning last night.

Is there some crazy scenario where we send Shaw and Mo to the Giants for Logan Webb and maybe Eldridge? Get an ace and a big power bat, though I'm sure it would cost more than that.

Ferguson will be the 27th pitcher we've used this season. It's June 2 lol. Last year we used 33 pitchers all season, and that includes mop-up appearances by Berti and Reese McGuire.

Only reason(s) for Cutch is thinking he would provide good leadership and some fire, and him getting 3 at bats a week is better than wasting Alcantara on the bench. I love McCutchen but he's beyond cooked.

Tbf he's mostly been a solid reliever for a few years until this season. Throw him in Iowa and see what happens, Can't hurt. That said, the timing and his name just scream joke.

I love Ian but he's looked dreadful. I do think that maybe there's something to calling up Alcantara and giving him some at bats and let the other guys get some days off to get their heads right. I don't know if sending Mo down would kill his confidence or help him figure out his swing again.
