  1. Ferguson will be the 27th pitcher we've used this season. It's June 2 lol. Last year we used 33 pitchers all season, and that includes mop-up appearances by Berti and Reese McGuire.
  2. A 10-game losing streak into maybe beating up the best pitcher in baseball is so Cobs.
  3. Only reason(s) for Cutch is thinking he would provide good leadership and some fire, and him getting 3 at bats a week is better than wasting Alcantara on the bench. I love McCutchen but he's beyond cooked.
  4. Tbf he's mostly been a solid reliever for a few years until this season. Throw him in Iowa and see what happens, Can't hurt. That said, the timing and his name just scream joke.
  5. Ok Jed is pranking us signing a guy named Bummer during a 10-game losing streak.
  6. I love Ian but he's looked dreadful. I do think that maybe there's something to calling up Alcantara and giving him some at bats and let the other guys get some days off to get their heads right. I don't know if sending Mo down would kill his confidence or help him figure out his swing again.
  7. Latest Pipeline mock: https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-pipeline-2026-mock-draft-may-21?t=mlb-draft-coverage
  8. The Padres make no sense to me. Their stars are all terrible this year. I have as many homers as Tatis this season. Gavin Sheets is their best hitter. The pitching has been mostly mediocre aside from a couple starters and Mason Miller. Yet they're 29-20.
  9. Keegan Thompson had his contract selected by the Rockies. He's up with the club. Brennan Davis is still in AAA but did in fact have his contract selected.
  10. Could it finally be happening? I'd be so happy for him if he makes his MLB debut.
  11. By all accounts he's pretty pleasant, both with teammates and fans. And nothing fascist, subtly or outwardly, that's been noted as far as I know.
  12. A move I'd have loved a couple years ago. Not expecting anything but worth a shot.
  13. A move I'd have loved a couple years ago. Not expecting anything but worth a shot.
  14. I have been told it gets so bad in the summer they needed a place that prioritized AC and comfort but, like, cmon. The team is playing in a cold storage unit.
  15. Giants traded Patrick Bailey to the Guardians. Somewhat surprising. He's not a good hitter but he's by far the best defensive catcher in baseball. Guardians now have an elite but no bat tandem of him and Austin Hedges (who last put up an OPS north of .563 in 2018). Guardians clearly care more about defense and Giants are believers in Jesus Rodriguez/Daniel Susac.
  16. Is there anything to Ferguson or just another dart throw for the pen? Older reliever who wasn't too bad the last couple years but awful this year in AAA and MLB.
  17. Yeah revisiting the Red Sox talks would be interesting. Also the Twins may have fixed Taj Bradley and aren't planning on competing soon. Anything there?
  18. Here comes my pick for "2026 version of Brad Keller" Trent Thornton.
