Bad luck comes to bite us a bit, and that was poor base running by Nico.

Eh, Castro and Happ were each denied an extra base, but both came around to score anyway. If that’s the bad luck you’re referring to, it didn’t really come back to bite them at all.

Nico has arguably been the third best position player on the team and done so quietly.

Someone the other day said they hate his approach and I couldn’t disagree more. He’s worked three 8+ pitch PAs (one that got up to 14) in the last week alone. I love watching him hit. Of course I wish he had more power, but I really like what he brings to the lineup.

The dynamics of the inning changed a bit, and I think it slightly hindered their ability to add on even more. Perhaps it was a nibble rather than a bite, but I stand by my statement.

I hate that they’ve immortalized that awful Cohen PCA HR call in a Marquee promo. Hearing it once was bad enough.

Even worse was Zaidman on the radio call.

Bad approach? Does PCA have a bad approach? If situational hitting is a thing, he makes consistent contact and shoots the ball the other way. That’s always been his game and adds a different element to a pull heavy lineup.

100% agree

Castro is exactly the type of guy they needed for the bench, they can insert him to give guys a day off and he'll give them quality AB, unlike the other knuckleheads they had/have.

Make that 4.
