I hear you. I’ll be over it by tomorrow, but I felt the undeniable urge to rant for catharsis. And yes, I yell at clouds sometimes, too.

I want to say I couldn’t possibly root for either of them under any circumstances, and yet I’m about to root hard for the Dodgers. *insert shrug emoji*

I‘m not sad, I’m angry. We have a ****** owner and a pretty piss poor front office. I know baseball will baseball, and higher payrolls don’t guarantee anything, but there are no excuses for this team to be looking up at the Milwaukee horsefeathers Brewers, regardless of Andrew horsefeathers Vaughn turning into Babe Ruth and Kyle Tucker devolving into Ian Happ. I don’t care that they made the playoffs; the frustration of yet another season where the offense absolutely horsefeathers the bed far exceeds any pleasure derived from watching October baseball with no real confidence in their ability to make a deep run. Thanks for allowing a meatball to meatball. Rant over.

I have somehow come to hate Kyle Tucker. Yes, I know I’m a meatball, but here I stand nonetheless.

We’ve seen this movie too many times this year.

Have you ever seen the old, black and white footage of games where dudes would literally swing 3/4 of the way and the ump would be like, “he held up!”? I’d take that over what we have now.

If owners get a cap, can we get a hard and fast rule on checked swings?!

I’d love for Rea to go a couple more.
