Do you *actually* think there's a reason that Turner can hit lefty relievers but not lefty starters?  Or did you just cherry pick the number that made your point after you saw that Turner's been better overall against lefties this year?

Yes, most starters are tougher to hit than most relievers, hence why there's a difference in numbers.

This is blatantly untrue.

League SP: 21.6 K%, 7.8 BB%, 89. 6exit velocity, 41.5 hard hit%, 8.9 barrel%, 94.1 velocity, 12.3 HR/FB
League RP: 22.6 K%, 9.3 BB%, 89mph exit velocity, 39,5 hardhit%, 8 barrelt%, 94.7 velocity, 11 HR/FB

The *only* thing it is easier to do against relievers is take a walk. Hitters are doing everything else worse against relievers than starting pitching.

Man, I thought Arismendy was gonna be a good player.

Yeah, I thought so too. Age 22 season in Iowa, 25% K%, 128 wRC+, .230 ISO. No batted ball data, but those are some good numbers.

Dude would have been better served to hit one career home run and make it an inside-the-park HR. Tony Campana is a Chicago sports legend.

I remember when there was first talk about the Cubs trading for Fowler some fans being against it because they said the Cubs already had a guy like him. Arismendy.

Fun Fact:

Arismendy Alcantara started his Cubs/MLB career going 0-4 with two Ks.  He followed that up the next day by going 4 for 6 with a double, triple, 3 RBIs and 2 R scored.  In fact, after the first game, he went 9 for 21 and was a legend (short lived) in the making.
