    I believe it was proven through phone records he was not at the scene during the time of the alleged rape. She dropped him from her civil suit but not the other four alleged perpetrators. Also, from what I read, he paid no settlement to her, but dropped his defamation suit against her.

    Ah, makes sense, assuming you’re referring to fans. I thought you were referring to media/pontificator type people. Fans are gonna fan.

    Who are these naysayers you speak of. I think the overwhelming majority of pundits, experts, media, and probably most fans know Chicago is a really good team. I don't see/hear really much of anything otherwise on a national level (I don't live in Illinois/Chicago).

    Good point, although I wouldn't say it makes it much more exaggerated. It's not like it's only a couple games. It's 40% of the season. But yes, the sample sizes are different.

    Isn't the opening line really just where the oddsmakers thinks the bets will break 50/50 (as least initially)? And then as bets are placed by the betting public, the line moves? I mean, sure the oddsmakers aren't just tossing dice. But it's just a starting point, right?

    I'm not a stats guy, but it seems that if you use the same variable measurements on the X and Y axes, then the outliers are much more prevalent/exaggerated in 2026. (grant it, 2026 is not quite half a season versus a full 2025 season).

    The "rough the passer" calls against the Packers have been pretty outrageous, in many instances, this season. And I'm pretty certain not one has been called this season on hits to Love. That seems......odd.

    After winning their first two games this season, they won their next 4 against teams with a combined record of 7-20. And by an average of one score (7 pt avg). They will definitely come back to earth as their schedule gets a bit more difficult.

    Bryce Young had a pile of sh!t on offense his first few seasons. The development of Chuba and getting TMac at WR1 are really big reasons for his progression.
