  1. What exactly am I "checking", other than my "sh!t"?? And my overarching point remains that the Lions problems this season are not their "drop" in offense, which is mostly negligent. Nor was my point some knock against Brad Johnson (despite some bizarre, baseless comment that I "still mad BJ beat Mark LaFleur).
  2. The Lions were averaging 30 points a game until yesterday's 6 TO, 10-point game. And now they're only averaging 29 points a game. Hardly a dropoff. Their offense is not the problem. And that's not a knock against Brad Johnson.
  3. That’s an odd retort.
  4. The had 8 turnovers for the season prior to yesterday’s game.
  5. The Lions completely sh!t the bed today, and it wasn’t because of Dan Campbell’s play-calling. They only gave up 161 yards of offense but turned the ball over SIX times. That ain’t play-calling, that’s fundamentals. As far as the play-calling for the season, I think the Lions picked up right where they left off from last season. 1st in points scored, 3rd in total yards, 3rd in passing, and 12th in rushing. Doesn’t seem like any drop off from Brad (edit-) Ben Johnson.
  6. Link Judon’s 2025 Performance Has Been Brutal If you want the short version: Judon is not even close to the player he used to be. If you want the long version… buckle up: Overall PFF Grade: 43.3 (112th out of 112 EDs) Dead last. As in, literally the worst-graded edge defender in the NFL. Pass Rush Grade: 47.7 (111th out of 112 EDs) This one hurts. Judon was once known for terrorizing quarterbacks. Now? He might as well send them a polite holiday card instead. Run Defense Grade: 54.6 (90th out of 112 EDs) Even against the run, where aging pass rushers sometimes still contribute, Judon struggled badly. Total Pressures: 10 (105th out of 112 EDs) In 13 games. TEN. Aidan Hutchinson had that many by breakfast in September. Sacks: 0 (110th out of 112 EDs) That’s right. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Stops: 5 (110th out of 112 EDs) A “stop” means a play that actually helps the defense. Judon made five of them… all year.
  7. “Mediocre white guys”??
  8. I know there's much hatred toward him by Bears fans, but he's 12th in QBR and 15th in TDs. Not bad for an aged QB.
  9. Jordon Love is the highest rated QB in the NFL against the blitz. The Broncos hardly blitzed but were able to get pressure with their front four in the second half. Love struggled (yesterday) with zone D.
  10. The best O-lineman (Zach Tom) went out after 25 snaps. Kinnard played okay, but he's not even close to Tom's ability as Tom is one of the league's best. So this certainly played into it. But, yes, the Broncos were able to generate pressure with 4 defenders. This allowed the Broncos to play zone for 75% of the snaps. And the Packers struggled yesterday with zone in the second half. Watson going out certainly didn't help.
  11. Was taken to local hospital for chest injury, but was on flight home with team. RT Zach Tom went out with knee injury in 2Q and did not return. SS Evan Williams left game in 2nd half with knee injury and did not return. And of course, Parsons is probably done for the season. Costly loss in the standings, and for the roster.
  12. People have problems with spelling and/or saying "Sauce"?
  13. Pressures (and sacks) are EXACTLY why you pay DEs big money. Pressures have huge impacts on plays success rate and outcome. It seems by your statement/logic, if a DE doesn't get a sack or make a tackle (or hold his edge), then he wasn't doing what he's paid to do. As far as your "rushing up field leaving his gap open", I just don't think there's merit to this statement. The Bears were able to rush between the Tackles. I don't recall many, if any, designed runs outside the Tackle to Parsons' side that were successful. Now, Gary Rashan OTOH.......
  14. You didn't watch the game then, because he had 8 QB pressures.
  15. ^^^ Yep! Frenchy’s grooming habits are a pretty hot topic on the Packers board I’m part of.
  16. Micah got paid, and he’s with a better franchise, IMO. He did just fine.
  17. I have no idea what Parsons was trying to say in that clip. But he's pretty damn good on the field.
  18. My bad, meant Darnell Wright. Thanks for the catch, and I fixed my original post.
  19. The 70s and most of the 80s were pretty tough being a Packers fan. Especially living in Chicago in the 80s. There aren't too many seasons in the past 35 where both of these teams have actually been good.
  20. He's got a broken bone in his lower leg. So, yeah, he's done until next season. Their (remaining) two interior Dlinemen with experience are on the lighter side at 296 and 273. Then the two remaining backups are both rookies with not a lot of game snaps. But they're big bodies at 315 and 327. With the Bears experience on the inside of their O-line, it is definitely an advantage to the Bears. Packers LBs (very quick and physical) and Safeties are really good in run support. Their top LB is Quay Walker, and he missed last game with a stinger.
  21. Parsons plays all over the line, from a three-point stance to a stand-up rusher. I don't have the stats, but the eye test from watching all of their games is that he prefers to line up against the RT, so XXXXXXX Wright in this case. Surprisingly, he has gotten very few holding calls against him this season.
  22. Can anyone make the arguement that #18 Michigan is not one of the more overrated teams in college football?
  23. I'm guessing Ballesteros is on the roster in the event Tucker's calf acts up.
  24. The Packers defense was dominant in the first three games of the season. Last night, the defense sh!t the bed after the first quarter, but not because of Parsons. Per PFF, he earned an elite grade of 94.3 (season-high 10 pressures on 30 pass-rushing snaps). And as stated above, his contract is actually really, really good for one of the best defenders in the league who's just 26 years old.
