  1. You didn't watch the game then, because he had 8 QB pressures.
  2. ^^^ Yep! Frenchy’s grooming habits are a pretty hot topic on the Packers board I’m part of.
  3. Micah got paid, and he’s with a better franchise, IMO. He did just fine.
  4. I have no idea what Parsons was trying to say in that clip. But he's pretty damn good on the field.
  5. My bad, meant Darnell Wright. Thanks for the catch, and I fixed my original post.
  6. The 70s and most of the 80s were pretty tough being a Packers fan. Especially living in Chicago in the 80s. There aren't too many seasons in the past 35 where both of these teams have actually been good.
  7. He's got a broken bone in his lower leg. So, yeah, he's done until next season. Their (remaining) two interior Dlinemen with experience are on the lighter side at 296 and 273. Then the two remaining backups are both rookies with not a lot of game snaps. But they're big bodies at 315 and 327. With the Bears experience on the inside of their O-line, it is definitely an advantage to the Bears. Packers LBs (very quick and physical) and Safeties are really good in run support. Their top LB is Quay Walker, and he missed last game with a stinger.
  8. Parsons plays all over the line, from a three-point stance to a stand-up rusher. I don't have the stats, but the eye test from watching all of their games is that he prefers to line up against the RT, so XXXXXXX Wright in this case. Surprisingly, he has gotten very few holding calls against him this season.
  9. Can anyone make the arguement that #18 Michigan is not one of the more overrated teams in college football?
  10. I'm guessing Ballesteros is on the roster in the event Tucker's calf acts up.
  11. The Packers defense was dominant in the first three games of the season. Last night, the defense sh!t the bed after the first quarter, but not because of Parsons. Per PFF, he earned an elite grade of 94.3 (season-high 10 pressures on 30 pass-rushing snaps). And as stated above, his contract is actually really, really good for one of the best defenders in the league who's just 26 years old.
  12. I really feel like the Dodgers were/are just clowning the NL, and their starting pitching is about to go dominant in the playoffs. And all their old vets will hit when necessary. And they'll end up in the WS pretty easily.
  13. That the other team will use a pitcher, and not a positional player, to face the Cubs lineup.
  14. Can someone clarify which team holds the tie-breaker between the Cubs and Padres. This article posted today (on MLB.com) states it's still undetermined: Link "Who holds the tiebreaker between the Cubs and Padres? Chicago and San Diego tied in their season series, 3-3, so the next tiebreaker would be intradivision record. In that category, San Diego (29-20 vs. NL West) would have the edge over the Cubs (27-22 vs. NL Central). If those records are even, Intraleague Play showing breaks the tie (the Cubs are 59-51, while the Padres are 67-44)." The Cubs currently have 89 wins and the Padres have 87. The only way the two teams can tie would be for the Padres to go 2-1 (with the Cubs going 0-4) or going 3-0 (with the Cubs going 1-3) in their remaining games. In both of these scenarios, it gives the Padres the better intradivision record. So there's no scenario where the Cubs could/would hold a tie-breaker, right?
  15. Sometimes doing nothing can be exceedingly exhausting: -waiting at the gate of a delayed flight; -waiting at the doctor's office; -sitting on a bus/in the car -facing below-average MLB pitching.
  16. That loss was brutal, in general, but especially after having a two score lead with less the 4 minutes to go. And then to still have a chance to win the game with, effectively, a chip shot by today’s standards (43 yards) only to have it blocked. Ugh! As much as I hate when they lose, maybe this will humble them a bit. Too much BS talk, especially from some of the players.
  17. I have a chronic illness called Cubs Fan. 😒
  18. I never suggested he was bad. I was merely referencing that the opponent's stats don't really matter because there have been plenty of dogshit pitchers that have stymied the order.
  19. Said absolutely nobody in the Cubs batting order.
  20. I agree mostly with what you're saying. I was actually making a joke (mostly) because it seems like it doesn't matter what sh!tty pitcher pitches, the Cubs offense struggles.
