Of course I like that Dansby started running for third now because it’s post-win, but not sure I’d recommend running with 0 outs. It should have been easily fielded and Dansby would have been thrown out at 3rd base if De La Cruz threw over to 3rd.
Ultimately the injury totally sucks, but in a way at least it looks like it’s a hamstring (could be a 6-8 week injury) rather than an elbow injury (up to 12+ months). So that’s one positive out of this.
I feel like someone who doesn’t challenge a decision that he 100% should be challenging thinks there is a “game within the game” that he is doing.
Any call that is egregious should be challenged. You just do it.
