That 26-4 record equates to 141 wins in a full season. For over a month now the Brewers have been effectively 25 games better than any team that has ever played the game.

Maybe the reason Jed didn’t bother with significant upgrades at the deadline is because he knew this team was cooked so there was no point.

He’s been an objectively better player than Berti, but I’m having a hard time seeing how they’re going to get him any playing time. 

Use him as a DH or work him in the rotation of catchers? I was thinking the same thing too. 
 

in any case, this team is an absolute train wreck. The division is a lost cause at this point , and if they don’t find some type of life they will once again miss out on the wild card.

PCA needs to take a seat. Castro would be a better option right now for the team. The kid is spiraling downward and forcing him to “work out his slump” isn’t working. It’s more than a slump at this point.
