  1. Hmm - interesting for sure. Maybe they feel they’ve seen enough from Alcantara and they have Conforto as the best option for RF/DH. Plus they can give Triantos some AB for n the bigs - I do wonder if they’re using this as an “audition” for potential trade deal(s)? So to your knowledge, Pedro isn’t headed to IL? That was the other question I had. Thanks 🙏 for the reply
  2. That’s what I heard too - to be honest, I originally thought this call up had to do with a potential trade as well. An injury would make the most sense - but do we know for sure why Triantos got the call up?
  3. Yep - may be packing it in early tonight. Rest day and mentally prepare for a looong stretch of baseball the next couple weeks.
  4. Nice job Rolison! Now how about get some damn hits and those things called runs!
  5. I tend to agree, but all it takes is a couple baserunners and a big swing - that’s all that happened there. However, I know what you’re saying - it’s not looking good tonight
  6. The epitome of falling behind 3-0 and throwing an absolute batting practice meatball……what could go wrong 🤦‍♂️
  7. I know home runs are part of the game, but I would really like to know. When was the last time the Cubs had a game where they did not give up a home run? I’m trying to think back to a game. They had a shut out in, but it seems like every game, literally at least one or two reach the bleachers.
  8. Yeah, they definitely had a sharp decline the last week or two. I really like Eury Perez - he’s been lights out his last few starts. One bright spot
  9. Couldn’t make it a game without giving up the almighty long ball
  10. Seiya going down looking to Rogers hahaha 😂 the man loves his backwards Ks Anyone see the end of the Phillies and Dodgers game? What a kick to the nuts
  11. Absolutely could have been a DP, even so he scores a run. Not ideal, but my point is he didn’t try to muscle it or turn on it. Simply went with the pitch. Out or no out.
