    I did not see this defense coming. Stifling the Packers this week would be huge. Hoping Kyler, Caleb, and Ozzy are all back soon and then this team can take off. They’ll need those guys because the Bears have a tough schedule coming up

    Bagent has thrown 3 TDs and 6 INTs in his career with a 73 rating. This is not a backup with a lot to show for in his young career. I’m hoping Ben made the right move, but I would have ridden Case’s hot hand until he failed.

    I wonder what the buyout was? Romo started out hot and became a really good analyst, but lately he became a caricature of himself and CBS even had to give him some recommendations. Nobody wants to see a guy get a DUI and torpedo his career, but I’m sure CBS is not too unhappy that they were able to end this relationship and his 10/$180 million contract through 2030,

    I’ve heard most, but not all of them. If Bagent got all of the first team reps, the Bears wouldn’t be able to hide who’s going to be the starting quarterback on Sunday.

    Maybe they would let him go once the stadium deal in Arlington Heights has been finalized by Pat Ryan and company. Letting him go now weakens the Bears’ position.

    3 weeks ago Counsell said he was resting his players because the division was out of reach. Well the Cubs lost the division and home field in the WC round.
