Cracks me up that Illinois stormed the court, but KSU didn't vs UT. It wouldn't have happened had we beat KU either. It's all about acting like you've been there before.

this comment cracks me up. what the hell has ksu done in the last 20 years to warrant this kind of arrogance?

Illinois has been there a lot more than KSU has.

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. And where are we talking about having been? The arse end of the Big XII? In that case, he's right.

I think they've gone around 3-17 vs KU. To their credit, they did beat us in their arena once.

This would be the type of homerism I am talking about. Someone makes a comment putting Illinois in the negative light and he gets attacked despite being right. Tadowdaddy didn't say KSU has done more than Illinois. If anything he is saying KSU has done less. He said KSU doesn't even do that alluding to that Illinois has done enough and its fanbase should be proud enough that it shouldn't storm the court in a regular season conference win.

shut up cubbiebum everything you say is wrong

in other news, i brought up mccamey's draft prospects tonight before the game, and my buddy said he couldn't see him as ever being anything more than a ninth or tenth guy in the nba. i disagreed.

pretty sure i'll be explaining how tisdale can totally cut it in the california penal league before the next game.

It's Illinois homerism when almost all of the comments were from Mizzou/Kansas fans? Do you think before you post?

Man what a great win. I think that might be the best win we've had since Dee was on campus. Like someone said I really hope this team starts defensing like most Illinois teams have.

do you have to make absolutely sure everything you write is wrong before you write it?

butters = mizzou alum

da bears = mizzou alum

snood- ku alum

and even if they were illini fans, i have no idea how making fun of pathetic ksu equates to homerism, if anything, they're just stating a fact.

i WILL be a homer for a little bit here and say that mccamey, at this point, is the BTPOY. he has absolutely carried this team.

I'd still go with Turner, who turns OSU from a .500 team into a top 10 team.

I have my doubts, but we'll never know.

didn't they storm the court the one time they beat us in Bramlage w the Beas?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhmmf3sUIUU&feature=related

the only time ksu has been there before against ku at bramlage.

lol...well, there you go, that was their first time so they didn't act like they've been there before. had they beat ku this year, they wouldn't have done it, because they have been there before (once).

KSU fans were probably afraid to get within 50 feet of Frank Martin.

There's no chance McCamey gets BTPOY. Turner's going to get serious consideration for National POTY.

But McCamey has definitely impressed me as a point guard this year. Anyone that says he doesn't have an NBA ceiling might need to get their head checked.

Notre Dame barely holds off USF 65-62 to stay near the bubble. BIG game out of Tory Jackson, who had 18 points and hit the and-1 that provided the winning margin. ND must beat @Seton Hall and St. John's to get to 8-5 in the league before a brutal 5-game stretch to end the year - of which they have to take 2 to even be considered to dance.

Wasn't KSU ranked No. 10 or something at the time? There's no reason the a fairly highly ranked team should storm the court after beating another team, even if that team is ranked No. 1.

1) The game was awesome last night, it was great to see the Hall rocking the way it should be.

2) I don't think I've been that drunk in a long time.

3) All the typical Bruce Weber things that I was expecting to happen did not. We found a way to score at the end of the game, and he did not over coach. D Mac played one of his best games ever, and always shows up big in the big games.

4) The win was huge for our tournament hopes, and was one that I had penciled in as a loss. If we find a way to beat OSU and go 2-2 over this stretch than I think we are golden for the tourney IF we don't slip up at Michigan.

5) I don't care about the court rush, and think it's [expletive] people get their panties in a bunch over this type of thing. Is it overdone? Yes. Should Illinois have stormed the floor? Probably not, but given what we have gone through and the adrenaline of the day I think it is hard to fault the students for getting out on the floor.

To be fair Illinois managed to score at the end because D Mac was in the zone and making 3-pters. Probably didn't have anything to do with Weber.

UNC getting their [expletive] kicked again. They don't even look NIT worthy this year.
Three losses in a row and six out of their last seven.
