Gervon Dexter wore 99 until 2 months ago. And also the 3 full seasons before that. It's been worn every year but 2 since Hampton retired

That's right, of course, I completely forgot.

I know it’s part of the deal being an NFL player, but I look at that footage of Simmons and I think to myself, man that would be disorienting to be on a team and a couple days later you’re practicing with a new one, getting ready for a game in a couple days.

Yes. Giving up a place where you were the #1 to go to a place you knew 1 other person well.

it’ll sink in his first home game tho…or tonight when his teammates take him DT fir food he couldn’t imagine

I mean, Lynch was on the Titans last year as well, so he's familiar with 2/3 of the rest of the DL.

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh pursued Tennessee Titans All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons by contacting the team's controlling owner directly after standard channels yielded no progress, reports Jonathan Jones of The Athletic.

Multiple sources tell The Athletic the Giants head coach called Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk directly in an attempt to trade for the All-Pro defensive tackle, breaking with traditional NFL trade-talk norms.

The Giants have been looking to make a deal ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, knowing they will go into Week 9 atop the NFC East. General manager Joe Schoen had previously reached out to Titans GM Mike Borgonzi, who told Schoen and other inquiring teams that they wouldn’t trade Simmons.

Harbaugh then opted to call Strunk, the Titans’ controlling owner, in an attempt to get Simmons. Harbaugh got the same message from Strunk, who has empowered Borgonzi to make football decisions for the franchise.

Johnson said they think that Loveland's thing is minor.

Monangai is not playing on Monday.

Might as well just sit him until after the bye at this point.

horsefeathers, I hope Loveland is okay.

He's been cleared to play Monday night. Seattle will be getting Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price back, also.

Still rumblings about a Mack trade, even though Poles didn’t sound like it was a strong possibility in his presser and the Chargers are not open to trading him at this point.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ guess the bolts are ok sucking and getting nothing for their aging players.

They most likely will, just going to be close to the deadline

Hoping to see the lions win today against the Vikings, but if that happens and then bears lose in Seattle would they actually not be in the playoffs if the season ended this week? Kind of crazy to even consider such a thing.

Looking like a typical Vikings game. Win by 1 point, 10-9 or something like that.

Lions have to stop with the lateral runs, run right at them.  Plus the Vikings offense is for sh*t, soon the Lions will hit a big one on the Vikings.

God that Vikings loss is so painful now. We’d be alone in 1st place if Caleb’s hamstring doesn’t rupture or Swift could hold onto the ball. Instead we’re in 3rd, and have a bunch of must win divisional games coming up.

If the Bears win tomorrow they are in 2nd a half game back with Tampa,Bye,Saints on deck. Minnesota has a gauntlet next, excluding GB.

Yes it is but as long as the Bears take care of business, I believe they can catch Minnesota.

If the Bears win tomorrow, they're 2.5 games clear of the playoff cutoff at the halfway point of the season.

Hot tip: GB is going to beat them.
