Probably only because Edwards is out again this week. Sewell came back last week, which might have been his demise at that point if Edwards was healthy. Not sure who is higher on the depth chart between Sanborn and Keyshawn Elliott. -
What?! I only watched the first half, but every missed shot by the Bulls was rebounded by the Hornets, and the only shots the Hornets missed were also rebounded by the Hornets. There was one series where the Hornets missed about 4 straight shots in the first quarter, all rebounded and shot again by the Hornets, including a made shot at the end.

Toronto's defense was swarming. Very few open shots, and the Bulls missed most of those. Will Claxton provide any rebounding improvements, because the rebound battle was uglier than the final score?

Just to confirm for those that may not be aware, but Bijan was called for holding on that play. It sure looked to me like Gordon was going to get him on that play since he almost got him even with the hold. -

You don't feel good about Caleb winning a shootout today? I sure do. I expect 2 of Burden, Odunze and Loveland to have big days today. -
CHSN is hot garbage. I went out to dinner with friends and started the game from the beginning when I got home, which was about 45 min to an hour behind. There is no fast forward feature, and when the official game time ended, so did my feed.

It does not have to be admitted. They started off the season beating the Packers, which was a disaster game for GB if I recall correctly. Then was the embarrassing effort from the Bears. After that, Minny beat a winless TB team, then Miami, who are competing with Tennessee for worst team in the NFL and then New Orleans. I'd say Minnesota has just as easy a chance of being 5-5 after their next 5 games against the Colts, @ Detroit, Bills, @ GB and then San Francisco. -
They looked like a playoff caliber team last night.

You forgot to mention the 4th and very long that the Jags converted into a TD to go ahead before the Eagles kicked it to them after their own field goal.

Holy horsefeathers show, Batman! Nothing worse than hosting a football party for your fellow Bears fans and the Bears perform like that against the f'n Packers. Luckily we had 7 other games on to entertain ourselves between horrific plays. Plenty of blame to go around. But, who was the player running his mouth leading up to this game?

Good on you if you made it past the first two periods last night. The third period looked much more promising.

I still have hope that Shemar Turner can be something. He hardly even got his feet wet before being lost for the season last year.

Do any of us remember the talks about cruising with Justin Fields and trading that first pick for a haul and drafting MHJ. Can you imagine how F'ing bad that would have been? No Caleb. No Ben. No playoffs.

Win this one for Ditka. Swift will be fine on Sunday after an afternoon to think about his ball protection. I agree with whoever said that the run game is more a product of the blocking than it is the talent of the RB's. Roschon will be fine spelling Swift for a series or two. I don't think the Packers defense can stop this offense, especially with their injuries.

Agreed. But, it's probably tough to be a recognizable rivalry when they've never been good at the same time. In fact, outside of Joe Namath, it's hard to recognize a time the Jets were good. The same can be said of anything outside of Brady and New England. Although I can see the Boston hope for Maye, but he's having a rough go of it this season.

Agreed. I still think letting Kmet take the snap and run it with TE's tush pushing from behind in super short yardage is the way to go. -
Dan Campbell looked like a man worrying about getting fired during last night's game.

From where I was sitting, the game plan was to get quick plays off to avoid the Hutch pressure, and it worked like a charm. Young looks exceptional when running a quick offense, whereas when he drops back and lets plays develop, he doesn't seem to be able to see over the line and misses the timing of hitting his receivers. My Carolina friends have been out on Young since year one, but I'd bet they are starting to rethink his value now.

This QB show in London is brutal.

First period looked hopeful. 2nd and 3rd were pretty bad. Hawks rarely controlled the puck and Buffalo challenged every Hawk player to the point where they couldn't perform basic passing even on their own end of the rink. 2 more periods like the first one and they probably win that game.

Why so harsh? Brand new poster here and you're attacking him like he's a troll Cardinal fan. Rude as hell. A lot of what he said here is what others are pointing out as well. Go after Skubal, fix the pitching staff, etc... Debate his Riggleman, Piniella and Stephenson stance all you want, but let's try to be a bit nicer to a guy offering his first time thoughts.

They should be getting Shemar Turner and Noah Sewell back at the same time. Not sure how much either will contribute, but I have some hope both can be improvements over the guys they will be replacing.
