Is Ohtani supposed to return to pitching again this season?

I think if both continue to hit well, that could be the difference between Ohtani winning the MVP over PCA.

Ohtani pitching will overtake PCA defense with the writers voting decision

I thought it was gone, and the wind is supposed to be blowing out.  The statcast says 103.9mph, 26 degrees, 412'.

Gonna have to pray for Shota to get through 5 at this rate.

Hes not looking sharp but been finding ways to get outs.

Hopefully the bats have a few more runs in them, 3 might not be enough

Also PCA with 28 SB vs Ohtani 6 SB

Thats at least 7 ABs in a row against LHPs for PCA.   He is 5-7 with 2 HR, a double, 2 SB, 3 runs scored and 5 RBI

Edit: No walks though so his BB% is dropping :classic_sad:

I can’t believe what I am seeing.  If he continues this could be the best season we have EVER seen from a Cub.

PCA Just matched Ohtani's OPS. There's nothing left for an excuse to vote for anyone but Pete.
