    Ok so we waste Zeferjahn only to use Assad anyway. Why not let him pitch 2 innings ?!!? edit: I mean Assad should have pitched 2, not Z.

    Love JD giving Javi Baez credit for defensive versatility. He was more versatile the Zobrist in 2016. Both were amazingly flexible, and Bryant's willingness to play some LF facilitated it. But Javi never gets credit for the versatility like Zobrist does.

    More likely the fact that he runs full out whether he's an MVP candidate or trying to figure out how to adjust to break out of a slump. He just goes at 100% all the time. He's listed 6-0, 184. At this stage in the season he is probably losing mass.

    He should not face another lefty all year. Maybe try hitting all pitchers left handed. 10 wRC+ vs lefties is beyond brutal.
