To me, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s actually very simple. A lot of guys have great stuff but can’t put it together to be consistent. Ben is one of those.  He’s never going to be better than this.

Brown is unable to consistently execute his pitches, take the Arias at bat, snaps off a good breaking pitch for a swinging strike.  Then a few pitches later hangs a breaking ball over the middle.  As a batter you just wait him out because he'll inevitably make a mistake.
