I'll still take a bit of a wait and see approach, but recent results certainly suggest that he is better than advertised.

The hilarious thing to me about that draft is the one guy I absolutely, positively did not want the Cubs to take (JJ Wetherholt) ended up becoming a Top 5 prospect.  Go figure.

It's a funny bitch. Anyone who says anything definitive about a prospect on draft day is talking about things they do not understand.

You really have to be prepared to be wrong and left with egg all over your face every time you have an MLB draft opinion.

Weird Baseball stat, this is the fifth time one LCS has ended in a sweep and the other LCS has gone to 7 games, the four times it’s happened the World Series has been won by the LCS winner that needed 7 games to make the World Series.

Bodes well for Seattle or Toronto at least.

I have no dog in this fight, but this game 7 has been incredibly entertaining

Dan Wilson decision to pull Bryan Woo for Munoz, who promptly gave up the eventual game winning 3R Homerun to Springer, will be the focal point.

It was a good series for sure.  I wanted to see the Mariners finally make it to the World Series.

Now, I'm rooting for the Blue Jays.  I really want to see the Dodgers lose.

Woo was in his third inning and put two guys on to lead off. The guy who gave up the homer, Bazardo, had a really good year and had been good in the playoffs. I don't think they can blame this on Wilson.

And Munoz was unhittable up to tonight. I get that, but Munoz got hit hard tonight. He was very lucky all he gave up was the homrun.

I know Dan Wilson was in a tough spot but I would have made the pitching change at the start of the inning.  Wilson will get some flak for that decision, though not all is deserved.

Not much variance in this postseason. No big upsets, most of the favorites won including all of the heavy favorites and the we have the consensus 2 best teams meeting in the World Series for the second year in a row.

I guess Ohtani will get on a plane and go to Toronto this time. 😏

I'm sure Blue Jays fans will give him a warm and loving embrace when he gets there.

Munoz didn't give up the home run, Bazardo did.  He should have put Munoz in at that time though.

Oh, I am sure Wilson will be second guessed and blamed. It is what happens to managers when the make a move that didn’t work. And the announcers were also speculating on why he didn’t go to Munez at that time. It was only the 7th but it was a high pressure situation. They suggested you put your best pitcher in there. If they were suggesting it I am sure fans will be blaming Wilson for not doing it.

Dodgers win this in 3

Is this by chance a reference to Boob Nightengale calling Tigers in 3 against the Cardinals in 2006?  Hopefully you're as wrong as he was. 😜

Curious to know why you didn’t like Wetherholt.

I saw him as a defensive tweener type and was skeptical about how his contact profile and power would translate to the pros.  I admittedly was a bit all over the map on that draft, but leading up to the draft I was leaning in favor of one of the college catchers, James Tibbs, or Christian Moore.  For the record, I was happy with Cam Smith when he was selected.

I understand its the Dodgers and they are 9-1 so far this post season. Also, have rather fresh SP.  I just dont get why they are so heavily favored.  Except for SP, Toronto is just as good or better in most other areas.  I really wouldnt be completely surprised if Toronto wins or even wins in 5 or 6.

Just as bad as watching a Cubs postseason game this year and one of the Fox commentators saying (paraphrasing) - “the roof on this building”. The game was being at Wrigley Field. WF doesn’t have a roof.

Yes and I hope like hell I am wrong!
