Dave Roberts freaking out as if Shohei Ohtani hasn’t made him look good for the last two years.

Not watching so they might have mentioned this but who's the last player to reach base 6 times in a World Series game?

And yet again in case it’s not obvious, thank horsefeathers for the pitch clock. Who wants an extra 2 hours of fluff.

Pitch clock can stay. Manfred man can go.

I certainly didn't expect the game to be on getting home after 1am.  A nice treat!

The upside to living in Australia is it’s 5:35PM.

Man this has been fun. Don't even care that there haven't been any runs in like 3 hours.

Hopefully the series ends like the last time the Dodgers played an 18 inning World Series game.

Game 3 is yet another good reason why the Manfred man rule is the dumbest rule in baseball in the regular season. Let the game run its course ffs.

609 pitches total were thrown tonight, compared to 561 in game 3 in 2018. And yet this game was 40 minutes shorter thanks to the pitch clock.

I'd argue the opposite. The Manfred rule has largely eliminated 18 inning games in the regular season. In the playoffs I think last night was epic, and awesome, and everything playoff baseball should be. But there are more off days built in and the stress on pitching staffs isn't as great.

I can't speak for everyone, but the last thing I need is a Cubs/Angels game that goes 18 innings in mid-May. They weren't fun. They were long and you were just hoping for them to be over with.

I'd hate to see the Manfred rule in the playoffs, but I appreciate it helping end games before it becomes a slog in the regular season.

Have we ever seen anyone as good as Ohtani?

I'd still take Judge.  Has anyone looked at the numbers he put up?  They make Ohtani' look pedestrian and that's saying something.
