  1. I choose Pete Caleb-Armwilliams
  2. JJ Watt absolutely shredded them for that. Those scores are absolutely worthless at this point.
  3. I would argue his game management is almost as bad as Eberflus and that's something that matters A LOT in the NFL when almost every game is close. They've lost 6 in a row and had a 2 score lead in the second half of four of those games. That's something you can't ignore.
  4. Did you even look at the standings or how the playoffs work before you wrote this?
  5. He also got bailed out by a bogus roughing the passer penalty that would have turned into a 4th down and a phantom hold in the end zone on an interception, so he was far from perfect yesterday and as others have mentioned, not nearly as mobile as Young so the Bears have a better shot at getting to him with the pass rush. And that's before we even get to the 2 short fields they got at the end of the game to put things out of reach.
  6. They were trying to be cute and didn't execute. Just kick it to the 1 yard line and let your guys go make a tackle if you can't execute the dirty kickoff consistently. It's not worth the extra 10-15 yards of field position with a defense this bad.
  7. There were so many free runners in the middle downfield for the Packers yesterday. I'll be surprised if the Vikings take the same tact against the Bears with their better offensive line and more weapons.
  8. That was very noticeable watching live. I was glad to see Walker rewarded for playing his ass off both blocking and on ST.
  9. I feel like one thing they were awful at yesterday, tackling, is pretty fixable with more reps. Guys play so little in preseason that wrapping up runners going full speed is an adjustment and I can't imagine that continues to be as big of an issue as it was yesterday. The rest, I'm not so optimistic about.
  10. Even as a Bears fan, I'll freely admit they got screwed at least 3 times by the refs. The roughing the QB penalty, the phantom hold in the end zone on the interception, and the non-call on the false start on the 2 point conversion were all badly missed calls.
  11. I mean, we knew this already. Someone here (Jason maybe? I don't recall) documented that his arm slot is down a couple degrees from last year and he's not getting the same arm side run on his FB that he did last year and it's making everything less effective.
  12. I'm not and it made me money because I bet the under on passing yards for him last night.
  13. How bad was Moreland on defense in 1986 that he had an OPS over .700 and was still negative?
  14. Ohtani's body is breaking down already. No way he ever does 50/50 again.
