  1. This is pretty spot on. https://danpatrick.com/2026/07/09/kevin-frazier-sounds-off-on-another-usmnt-letdown/
  2. Craig said it was a cramp in the postgame interview and that he's good to go.
  3. That level of specialization at 9 years old is just crazy to me. Do kids even play sports at school once they get to middle school anymore? That's where a lot of the development for kids my age came because the seasons were short and you could try just about everything.
  4. Why do we even have replay if they're going to blatantly ignore the fielder stepping on the baserunner's hand AND pushing him off the base?
  5. You don't recall the soft tossing righty Jake Woodford, formerly of the Cardinals and recently the Brewers? For shame. 😂
  6. Ferguson and Woodford to finish this I guess? Maybe Rolison is available?
  7. He looked like ass before he kicked that guy's foot and got hurt. Piss on him.
  8. Cubs have the 5th best record in baseball and 4th best in the NL. It's crazy.
  9. He's running an insanely high BABIP right now so excitement should be tempered in spite of the good numbers.
  10. See also, "pixie dust". The horseshoe up their ass against the DBacks the other day was particularly annoying though.
  11. Totally agree and I was speaking more in general than toward any specific guy.
  12. As desperate as this team is for high octane arms, I wouldn't be terribly upset about picking a guy who you think can be a late inning circle of trust guy inside of 2 years from being drafted. I'm no draft expert, but it sounds like the bats expected to be around at 23 are questionable and the arms all have injury or pitchability questions. Grabbing a guy with a big arm who can move quickly and may be better suited to the pen because of previous injuries seems like a solid use of resources considering the dearth of relievers in the pipeline.
  13. You don't need to look any further than the 2006 Cardinals, who are by far the worst regular season team to ever win a WS, to see a team that got both healthy and hot at the right time to go all the way. We even have a burgeoning starter who can be plugged into the bullpen as a relief ace like Wainwright was that year in Wiggins.
  14. I think worrying about them winning is unnecessary. Even if we get there, France will beat us like 5-1.
  15. Bernstein was talking about it on his podcast last week at some point to address the previous professional relationship they'd had. Absolutely wild stuff all precipitated by a traffic accident.
