  1. Heavier bats would probably lead to less KOs eventually
  2. If you limit options, or limit the amount of pitchers you can have on your 40 man roster.
  3. I think it starts with making bats heavier. So pitchers won't have to "work" as hard to get outs. But they would still over pitch unless they were limited in some way. Since all baseball equipment rule changes allows grandfather rules, it may take some years to implement.
  4. Increase the weight of bats Limit teams to 11 pitchers and allow less options
  5. I was in our pool all afternoon listening to the game on the radio....absolutely a game we had no business winning....I almost drowned myself 4 times in the bottom of the 10th. Beer in the pool tastes better
  6. In 2021, Red Wings take a goalie with 14th pick, develop him for 5 yrs. He becomes a top goalie prosect. The Wings trade him for the 23rd pick of 2026 draft, a player who will take 3 yrs minimum to reach the NHL......it makes no sense!!
  7. Obviously being desperate put the Cubs in a bad spot.....in that context I dont mind this trade. Mostly because Mathis is meh and I dont think he would be that important of a piece to land a more substantial pitcher
  8. I feel like everything that is being said about Swain was exactly what was being said about PWill at the time he was drafted
  9. I like the Hawks getting Byram. But I feel like the 45th pick and Crevier should have been close with maybe another later pick or prospect. 4th overall pick is insane. I doubt the Red Wings get that much for Larkin
  10. I really think he ends up playing for the Wings next year....mostly because the Wings are not going to accept what those 3 teams have to offer. The Wings are in a similar place the Bulls have been the last couple of years. They dont have enough talent in their system to become really good, but dont have enough assets to get a lot better
  11. As a Red Wing fan I really hope he is open to going to the Blackhawks.
  12. I put $20 on the Sox to win the division today, huge slump coming
  13. I watched him the other night against the Phillies. His stuff looked great.
  14. Both Tkachuk brothers, Brad Marchand and the Bruins eliminated. I am at peace with this season.
  15. He really seems like a great dude...to bad his awful color commentary gets on my nerves
  16. Can the Cubs get Brad Keller from the Phillies, with them picking up half of his contract:)
  17. Are all the big time college jobs already taken?
  18. Yeah, comparing Billy to Nagy is wrong....but there were a lot similar positive vibes.
  19. Remember all the positive vibes when AK hired Billy? Not quite Pace hiring Nagy but close
  20. I know this is some sort of stupid.....what prevents the Bulls from going after Brad Steven's? I generally hate cross sport correlations, but that really would feel like the Cubs getting Epstein
  21. Also....CBB needs to stop all these replays.
  22. Props to Michigan. Who knew they could out ugly UConn. I think Barkley said it at halftime, this was absolutely the game that UConn wanted....but Michigan was still winning
  23. Unfortunately I dont think this solves the Bulls biggest issue
  24. And Michigan still had a 30 point 2nd half lead against a better team than UConn
