Have you watched it? Its not everyday, but my very progressive wife, when this one particular woman is on cringes about her lack of any reason to be on the show than being half dressed.
And my bigger complaint is not about her....its about the audience the MLB Network is chasing
General rant....I get home every morning and watch quick pitch on MLB. In general I like the show because they do fairly comprehensive highlights of every game. But WTF do they think they need a half dressed bimbo be the commentator half the time?
So I have my 3rd shift working, drinking alone drunk post at 10 30 AM thing going. Where does this thread go in the all time NSBB most thoughtful and inciteful topics ever? Probably not that high I am guessing
I still believe the more Assad pitches the less likely he will be successful. I think the best thing that has happened to him is he has generally pitched in front of a great defensive team....and that team does not believe in his results.
That being said, to me a good "pitcher" historically out performs conventional wisdom. But a good "pitcher" is often hard to define
I loved getting Clay Holmes.....but I think getting Tyrone Taylor is being undersold. A guy who can play left or center against LHed pitchers. Be a RH pinch hitter off the bench. He will be a very valuable piece down the stretch
I can easily see a path where the Dodgers send Wrobeski to the Tigers. Skubal takes Wrobeski's spot in the short term. Dodgers will be getting reinforces from the IL by playoff time. Tigers who are probably more in a win next year mode, get a pitcher who may really help with that
I think the Cardinals are just regressing to who they really are....probably better than pre season expectations, but still not a seriou playoff contender
Not sure Mo will provide enough power to justify just letting him DH for the next 4 yrs. He is probably the easiest young position player for me to part with.
I fully expect Bregman, Nico and Busch to have better 2nd halves. To me pitching is still the biggest concern. But the big positive with all the pitching injuries is potentially a more rested staff in October. That seemed to work out great for the Dodgers last yr
I think Milwaukee is intentionally resting Mis and his arm is just fine. Easy to do with a 6 gamelead
I dont think the Balogun red card was so egregious that it should have set new precedence. Just my opinion.
Why is Belgium so upset? Its not like a 7 game series between them and the US, the foul didnt happen to them.
I hate that Trump has weaseled himself in. He lowers my enjoyment of International sports so much
I think it starts with making bats heavier. So pitchers won't have to "work" as hard to get outs. But they would still over pitch unless they were limited in some way. Since all baseball equipment rule changes allows grandfather rules, it may take some years to implement.
I was in our pool all afternoon listening to the game on the radio....absolutely a game we had no business winning....I almost drowned myself 4 times in the bottom of the 10th. Beer in the pool tastes better
In 2021, Red Wings take a goalie with 14th pick, develop him for 5 yrs. He becomes a top goalie prosect. The Wings trade him for the 23rd pick of 2026 draft, a player who will take 3 yrs minimum to reach the NHL......it makes no sense!!
