  1. Also....CBB needs to stop all these replays.
  2. Props to Michigan. Who knew they could out ugly UConn. I think Barkley said it at halftime, this was absolutely the game that UConn wanted....but Michigan was still winning
  3. Unfortunately I dont think this solves the Bulls biggest issue
  4. And Michigan still had a 30 point 2nd half lead against a better team than UConn
  5. I know UConn has some sort of cosmic incredible final 4 record.......but it is really hard seeing them beating Michigan
  6. Yeah I think GFlore34 is stuck with him until he retires
  7. Probably....but I find it amazing how many people are just overlooking just how 1 sided this game was. Kudos to Enzo predicting the USAs only chance was taking it to OT. But even then most people probably thought OT made the Canadien chances even better. I hate to be this guy but Canada lost this game way more than USA won it.
  8. I think the real bad judgment was reading this thread with the expectation that I may gain useful knowledge. I just got effectively drunk
  9. Kudos to the USA for winning. But the game that Crosby won in OT was probably more competitive than todays game. Hellebuyck should get a platinum medal.
  10. I know this may sound corny, but I really love the Winter Olympics. I think the main reason why is because of 1980. I was a young teen then. Eric Heiden and the Miracle on Ice were so big. The USA beating the Soviets is still the greatest sporting event of my life. Bigger then 2016. I dont want to be that old guy, but if you didnt live it you probably will never know just how awesome it was. USA does not dominate winter sports. So our successes seem so much bigger.
  11. I think I would have split my MVP vote between Walker and Witherspoon. Bad Bunny was not my cup of tea, but could not see what all the outrage was about. Not sure why Vikings fans are fretting about Darnold. Their defense is not as good as Seattle's and Darnold was only marginally better than Maye
  12. I was trying to think of this like the Cubs looking to trade Steele after 2027 if he comes back and is really effective. I would hate it....but the Brewers are not the Cubs.
  13. I am not saying he won't regress. But I think his swing will age well.
  14. I feel like Roberts is going to have a bit of a bounce back this season.....but I am glad the Cubs were not the team picking up his entire contract and taking that gamble
  15. Okay, I am beginning to think this Indiana team is legit
  16. Probably get in the way of them mastering the transfer portal
  17. The root cause to all of this was the ACC letting Duke in their championship game. I think most people would have been OK with one of those teams in. It really looks bad that 2 made it. Notre Dame playing either Oregon or Miss St and these playoffs look far better than the 1st round was.
  18. Dude, I have been on this board longer than you have been alive. I probably have posted less actual words than you have in the last 3 days. I am not saying I am popular on this board, but I think it is actually like real life. Listen/read more, comment less
  19. Out of playoffs, out for season? Might be the right move for many reasons
  20. I miss College Football
  21. After reading this thread, I have decided to keep my thoughts on the analogy between the Cubs and The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Friend to myself.
  22. I think some of the 5-7 teams may also have already packed up for the season. Coaches and players had other plans. And other such things. Iowa St lost their coach. So I do certainly get it for some schools. Also, as more schools declined some administrators may have felt better about declining than going thru the bowl game hassle. Some of these bowl games are a net loss for schools
  23. I think if the Wings would have gotten him in a trade, there was a decent chance he would have extended his contract. This has a very Kyle Tucker vibe to it for Minnesota. They gave a lot
  24. He will probably be a o line coach in the NFL next year, or some sort of Quality Control coach. Be OC somewhere after that
  25. My son said he read about on reddit several weeks ago....so there has obviously been some information out there about it At least he said the rumors about were out there
